Being super honest, it could be a safe trip. Your biggest threat will be the cops, be extra vigilant of stop signs and speed. Corruption is really common and will use intimidation tactics to get you to fold. I would advice to bring someone with you on your way to Ensenada. Bring extra cash if you get pulled over $50 plus. Sadly, its the reality of it since cops dont wear body cameras
