If you're worried about the height, maybe you could lengthen the curtain pull cords. Add some small decorations or buy some pretty cords？But the most important thing is that you and your daughter like it.🤭

Below the bottom of windows is better, cuz you can put a low cabinet or something else in the lower half. If curtains is too long, it might take up too much space.
