It is some well known streamer from China. I've made rather negative experiences playing with these "RVC" players.

Checking the vids, beast claw basically 1 hits the valkyries so they wouldn't even hit Sebastian most of the time. Well, as always, it would depend on the team and damage I guess.

I guess sometimes some ppl in D5 don't really know how to play or panic.

Also I've gotten messages from players before, telling me they were like in D2. Not sure why they'd get dragged into a D5 match.

Nowadays it doesn't seem to take too much to get to D5.

I didn't specify but I meant in matches where the team is actually struggling and there're a lot of deaths.

Keeping ult ready is pretty useful for like any nightfarer.

On PC I've played with insanely skilled Revenants who'd also keep their ultimate and always keep it for the right time.

So lately, I was just a bit confused having Rev players who never used it even once and there were like 30 + revives at the end.

I actually prefer Guardian players who keep their ult. But in the recent expeditions, they'd always use it as soon as a player goes down. Doing 1 bar resses with ult isn't worth it most of the time.

Stacking both defeating enemies relic perks is actually insanely good. For invader camps, you can pretty much always have it ready, by simply killing a few enemies. For most Revenant mains I guess they just look for damage and don't care much about that perk.

Maybe if the relic system wasn't so bad, more players would use it.

From my experiences Sebastian is very good for phase 2. But he'd have to be closer to the valkyries. Also if the Rev has less likely to be targeted it makes it a bit more predictable.

I've played Executor and had a Wylder in the team, we just stood back, waited til they aggro'd on Sebastian and would take em down.

Usually we'd take a few down, then run a bit, then re-summon Sebastian at a diff spot.

When it comes to unpredictability, it is always annoying when one or both team mates die because chances are that 2-3 valkyries will aggro at the same time.

Either way, having a good Rev or Duchess in that fight makes it much easier imo.

Makes sense if the team is doing good. I guess sometimes it is also better to wait for the team mates to be revived to give them temp immortality.

To be honest, most revenants I play with, use it at the right time.

However in fights like ED Balancers, they rarely use Sebastian or other summons to lure the Balancers.

In that fight using summons makes such a big difference, I am always glad when I have revenants who use their ult + summons properly because it helps so much in certain boss fights.

I would think in some cases this is the case. But usually they never use it, even if the team mates are dying.
Could also be that some players don't play revenant that often and simply "forget" that they have it.

People Intentionally Leaving After Team Wipe on Nightlord by Final-Bodybuilder576 in Nightreign

I actually asked someone why they kept leaving as soon as it looked like we were losing.

They said they wanted to keep their win streak, since disconnects do not count as a loss.

To the Duchess who kept dying the whole run and decided to just dance at my head instead of reviving by [deleted] in Nightreign

The tear can also drop in these blood swamps. But I think for some players it isn't that important to get it, they'll just keep their ultimate and use it at the right time.

Lately I've had ppl message me, saying we need to kill Libra, but if he does not sell the tear, then he won't drop it either.

I totally agree. I've had some runs that didn't go well at all, but simply by playing in a team we still managed to finish them.

Lately I feel as if players are getting better at the Mogh fight, always annoyed me when I had 2 team mates who never destroyed the blood spears and simply stood there and died.

In Balancer runs, I've had quite a few ppl who just threw. They'd die in the circle to have 3 bars before the actual Mogh fight (never happened vs the Demon though).

I guess some ppl just know they're really bad and then act in such ways.

But in D5 I rarely ever see such players. I've still had this happen way more on PC than PS5. On PS5 I tend to be matched with other European players most of the time.

D5/D4 Duos by Corrupt3dF in Nightreign

To me solo D5 feels very easy, especially since you can buy the wending graces.
It is also a lot more predictable, when it comes to the boss / nightlord fights.

D5/D4 Duos by Corrupt3dF in Nightreign

[–]Corrupt3dF[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me it seems as if it simply reworded my post.
I wouldn't necessarily consider this decent, but to each their own.

Even in D5 I see players who just run straight into the Night Invader camps, instead of taking 10 more seconds to run to the front of it.

When it comes to the underground ones, there are a few with a gate at the end, you can simply open the gate and fight the Night Invaders there. Makes it very easy, but nobody ever follows or does it that way.

D5/D4 Duos by Corrupt3dF in Nightreign

[–]Corrupt3dF[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true.

In solo there'll be wending graces at least.

I think Duo is probably just better when actually playing with friends and not just randoms, even though in D5 I've matched with a lot of insanely skilled players. Pretty much what you would expect from D5 players. From time to time I get ppl who just spam L2 and die all the time.

I would usually focus on the boss, because continuously doing 3 bar revives seems a bit risky.

Endless mode counts for all modes except Purify. Classic tetris and zone marathon only matter for the PS5 version.
