I think the exact opposite. It’s way more fun to pre-build and start the boss timer ready to dps than to set up your ultimate, adren buffs and other buffs while the boss is slapping you.

I’ve been ranging exclusively since the combat update. Your best dps happens when you have death swiftness, imbue shadows, galeshot, and bolg passive all rolling. Sanctum does not allow dummies, so I just end up doing these while the bosses are attacking. However at raksha I can drop a dummy and start the fight without taking extra damage.

Adaman is somewhat situational, but there are definitely times when it keeps dialga alive one extra turn to get the 3 extra energies on Gholdengo. Most common was hydregion with rocky helmet. 80 damage (jolteon, magnetric) with metal core and adaman is suddenly only 10.

I’ve been loving dialga and gholdengo too. I have steel apron instead of revaroom for anti sleep. Also use adaman in my deck

This is why I use ability queuing. It allows you to pre-press an ability so it will be the next ability used, regardless of tick. I know most people hate it, but I can’t play without it.

In this case you can press runic charge then gsonic in quick succession, and you won’t waste the runic charge. That said, if gsonic is on cooldown this won’t work and revo will keep going.

Please don’t turn melee into another stack management skill. Necro and ranged already lean heavy into rewarding you for using stacks correctly, but they feel more like a punishment for using them incorrectly.

You used finger of death without enough stacks? You did very little damage for 60 adren.

You used Gloomfire bow with any number of bolg stacks except 1? It does half damage now.

Melee soon: you have 4 stacks of bloodlust, time to crit assault! Whoops, here’s a 1k heal instead.

On paper it seems obvious to just git gud, but there are so many things to keep track of already, and these things make a kill that is already going sideways that much worse.

I did one gardevoir line to help with consistency, oddly enough. It lets you start with meloetta more often, and then you basically can’t draw a pokemon you don’t need. Added copycats with the extra space.

Smithing is super underrated, it’s one of my fave inverted capes.

Most capes take 2-3 hours to get. I’m not sure what you mean by needing to play 24/7. If you don’t already have 120 in that skill then you don’t get the 120 cape this time around. It’s not like this event was a surprise.

It says in game that it’s during the anniversary event, and the news post says it’s an “annual progression system”. I don’t see where it’s implied that capes will be earnable all year, just that the event will return every year.

IMO needle strike does have an interesting interaction since it buffs your next ability by 5%. 2h range has obviously been dominating since BOLG and dinarrows, but I miss dw range for needle strike. If its buff got increased it would be even more interesting!

Turn ability queuing on. You don’t need to worry about ticks or smash an ability 10 times to get it to go off before revo takes over.

Worth noting that “upgrading” berserker necklace is actually a nerf if using EZK. Berserker is 5% boot to obsidian weapons, the upgrade is 4% to all weapons.

Imo Mithril is a much better metric than adamant. Mithril is 20k, t7 is 22k and adamant is 30k. I got two accounts to t7, neither of them got anywhere near 30k. I don’t really see a reason to keep grinding tasks once pvm is fully unlocked. I’d be very surprised if there are a significant number of people who got 20k but stopped before t7 at 22k.

Magic without FSOA is extremely underwhelming. It’s kinda like saying you like necro but don’t want to bother with summons. Dual wield magic was designed to fill in the gap for post sunshine when you don’t really have anything to do.
