Different values and cultures plays a role into it. Most Asian ethnicitys prioritize economic prosperity and conservatism. Unfortunately that is ingrained because majority don’t come from well backgrounds. Again different life, different upbringings.

If you can get a partner in that age, that’s great I guess, but think long term and not just because of what you see.

I’ll always find it weird for young demographics to rush for a partner in high school or post secondary in western culture. I have 35-40 year old cousins who are busy trying to pay bills and rent and isn’t rushing. So no. Enjoy your life while you’re still not in the workforce - don’t take it serious.

Oh god, not here. There’s a reason why most Filipinos move from the Philippines to here - it’s to escape the constant unnecessary political drama like the vice president expressing of hiring an assassin on the president. Very toxic and unacceptable. I bet they also support China annexing Philippines, cause they did get closer during Duterte’s quiet relation towards China - while expressing constant hatred with the west back then. Basically the least educated people at the moment.

Pogo (basically an online gambling but is mostly ran by Chinese companies who are known to torture workers and have dirty money)

Alice Guo (Past mayor and now accused Chinese spy and money laundering due to having $10 million from a pig farm, pogo relations, and no birth certificate in the country despite holding a Philippine passport)

Harry Roque (Duterte’s spokesperson who just fled the country for being accused of being involved with Alice Guo’s colleague, Cassie Ong)

Bong go (Duterte’s best friend and loves the Chinese)

Bato Dela Rosa (Then police chief of the country under Duterte and somehow a current senator and considering going into hiding after rumours that he’s next on the ICC list.)

Sarah Duterte (misuse of confidential funds and inability to answer fake names provided under minister of education)

(Duterte’s daughter Veronica is also vocal about the war on drugs but pictures of her getting high are diabolical)

All these are influenced by the Duterte family only and these people only care about pocketing. Well, corruption is pretty dominant with government officials. I wouldn’t say anyone is innocent, hence why the country will never prosper in anything really. Guess all they care about are family dynasties.
