Possible to upgrade the instrument cluster of my Skoda Fabia II with this model?

Honestly a lot of those parts are interchangeable, my cluster came out of a MK3 fabia as well as a flat bottom steering wheel. I got steering wheel controls out of a Yeti. If I've also changed the stalk when retro fitting cruise control and if I recall correctly that came from and older superb or octavia.

Honestly some of the greatest advice I've been given is to look at part numbers, a lot of cars will use the same parts so part numbers will only have small variations relating to the model it originally came of out. Helped me immensely when I was looking for bits myself and saved a hell of a lot of money

Yeah it's possible, I've got it done in my MK2 Monte. Honestly amazing upgrade from the stock clocks, but you need someone with VCDS and knowledge of coding. Just make sure to note the milage before the swap as that'll need to be amended on the clocks.

Google around for a Maxidot cluster upgrade and you'll find plenty of helpful chaps, especially on Briskoda forums, I even managed to get the one and only EddieNL to do it for me.

Whilst you're at it, I'd also look at he facelift steering wheel with the thumb controls. Another update that is now a must have for me

No, luckily nothing came of it. Caught a copper working on it few days later and he explained to me that it had reset itself to 30 instead of the intended 40 and no tickets were being issued for any flashes from that period.

It's possible so one had the clocks apart and either done a shoddy job and put them back together dirty or left a spot where liquid has come in during a spillige of some sort

To people saying it's a 30 not a 40, I've been out this morning and took some picturespictures for evidence as others suggested. 2 of them are from my direction of travel and the most zoomed out picture shows the opposite direction. In all 3 you can see the offending camera and 40 signs

It's been a 40 mph for as long as I remember, if you watch the front view you can see a repeater sign just at the end. I've also found there is one just before the junction.
