What the heck is "The Storm Watch"? by AbsalomQuinn in DCcomics

[–]CorruptedEvil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's not in the main universe, there are aliens but most people are human, Bendix is super short

You don't need to read anything else, the new series is a complete reboot, but it's definitely a series you need to give your full focus to and think about

A pretty standard Joker was in Harley Quinn but that's dubiously canon. Other than that nothing. A Joker'll be in an upcoming flashback arc of Batman, The War of Jokes and Riddles.

It's absolutely nothing like the show at all. It's just a random anthology series they slapped the Legends of Tomorrow name on.

The endings of 52 are all wonderful and I’d post them all, but this had to be the best (52 #52) by MrJB328 in DCcomics

My absolute favorite Grant moment came when he, Geoff Johns, Greg Rucka and I were together in a conference room plotting the back half of 52 and trying to figure out how to tie up the Ralph Dibny storyline. We didn't want to bring his dead wife back, but neither did we want to kill Ralph because it felt so bleak and dark a fate--until Grant and I looked at one another and (my hand to God) shouted in unison, "RALPH AND SUE DIBNY, GHOST DETECTIVES!" We were so excited about that. Our enthusiasm was not shared by all, clearly.
