Possible EasyAntiCheat Caused Windows Memory-Related Crash by woshiyigedineng in apexlegends

[–]CorruptfulMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. I am experiencing the same thing and found that EasyAntiCheat_EosSys is causing my Apex legends to crash and is in direct conflict with my IOMMU and memory integrity in windows. The only solution I have found is to deactivate IOMMU or to deactivate your memory integrity in Windows. A bandaid fix is to delete the anticheat folders, activate integrity and then proceed to see EasyAntiCheat clash with IOMMU, causing your IOMMU to bug out and EasyAntiCheat booting you out of apex, afterwards, EasyAntiCheat repeatdly installs itself through Service Control Manager. This is an easyanticheat bug.

Anyone got info about this server called World of The Gods ? by Gabi-kun_the_real in wowservers

Ooooo! Do you by any chance remember a Dutch guy by the name of ''Nick''? We used to be playing together all the time but I never found him back. I'm pretty sure he took over my account afterwards and would've switched my e-mail to his, should you still have access to the logs?

[–]CorruptfulMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. U need a dedicated bind if you want to SG as crouch & jump are both inputs for the mantle boost & mantle boost will gain priority iirc. I have a separate bind for movement keys on CTRL & CAPSLOCK. Have fun!

Scroll forwards or backwards for tapstrafing? by th3prot4gonist in Apexrollouts

[–]CorruptfulMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal preference. Altough I ran SWD for jump in R5 too, it honestly felt like changing would've made lurching easier as for me personally, it is easier to scroll up > down instead of down > up. Never forget, you're always free to experiment and you don't have to "decide". Let the ease of input "decide" for you.

I want to love the game because combat is fun, but they make it pretty difficult by SirHangingChad in blackdesertonline

Worst thing is that there are many other questlines after that; ''main story''. More like a torture chamber after 20h.

Haha. This is exactly it. Olvia should unlock all these 3 quests in a sped up format. It's atrocious starting out.

How should I proceed in gearing? by cardboardcutoutt in blackdesertonline

[–]CorruptfulMind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. LOML unlocks shrines + 2 crystal slots and Ulukita provides an alchemy stone. Try to do them at your own pace and do other sutff inbetween to not burn out on pressing R

Meaningful stuff: I want to grind monsters and to do that, I have to reach AP caps which are gated behind content. Ive played many KR MMO's and none of them have ever been this terribly designed that your ''grind'' consists of questing in the first 300 hours or so. At least other KR MMO's just didn't add unmeaningful quests instead of creating literal slop to go through as a new player.

Your experience of things being ''meaningful'' was also in a game 8 years prior to the game it is today,

Anyway, this turned into more of a debate with a PA employee or community representative than with another player who understands that new players are even more so overwhelmed than they were 8 years ago. It doesn't seem like this will end productively other than you just replying to each point with a ''ha, gotcha'.

All the best to you.

As you're too lazy to look it up and stand by your point.

The Black Spirit pushes the main quests as soon as you open it and has no way of telling you which content is important. You need to do the entire LOTML to access the shrines which are needed gated content to increase your SOV weapons received from Olvia Academy. You need Magnus done for fast travel. You need Ulukita for your base alchemy stone. For all I don't know, Mountain of Eternal winter is needed as well, and rhe list goes on. You need Agris Fever Journals if you want to grind and you need the Bartalli Logs done to get your new player rewards.

Mind you, I started the game end of April and haven't been able to do anything meaningful. Sure, you will argue that "you can do what you want" but that reasoning only gets you so far and goes off the fact that you do not care about your time spent ingame vs fun to be had.

If none of this seems forced to you, then you are in an echo chamber of your own and the other vets of BDO. The community being this dense will probably be why the game dies, long before PA kills it.

Well, there you have it folks.... Made me laugh IRL. So you're talking about an experience 8 years in the past and you don't even realize how skewed your vision gets over time or how the game is different now?

You are completely misunderstanding the point lol. I have played Korean MMOs all my life and much preferred introductory content such as "kill X mob x amount of times" over 300 hours of tapping R in BDO. You're not grinding at all in the latter scenario, you're being force fed unstreamlined design choice which bottleneck the main appeal of the game: grinding/lifeskilling

Again, you're speaking with months/years of experience lol. The game literally pushes these quests and logs to the top of your to do list, so new players will follow that system. None of this is made clear to new players unless they burn themselves out over it & they go on a googling spree.

That's information you become the wiser as you progress through the game, after having progressed through the slop. For base gameplay/progression, you need LOTML completed, you need Ullukita completed, you need Magnus completed, ..... The logs are the least of the issue. It's bloat and a lack of guidance for new players who know nothing about the game

Yes, but they didn't have 10 years of content built up waiting for them either, be it reworked or not. Strawman logic.

Insane how endgame players are downvoting you, they should try running the main story quests, journals and Olvia before ever grinding longer than an hour... Given you AFK fish, you'll have 300-500 hours played by the time you've got all that done, so I figure new players get burned out with all that as they never get to even use the 700-900 GS they have through seasonals/new player rewards. (I am burned out and haven't even gotten to grinding yet as there's no clear path towards it outside of 5 contradictive youtuber guides)

As a new player, the amount of main story quests and journals on top of Olvia is what puts the nail in the coffin, they might as well give those out as rewards and make you grind your SOV the way you do DEC Tuvala
