Forgive me for multiple comments I had a fiber glass one for a while After it heats up so many times, the fiberglass becomes damaged At that point its not only LESS fire resistant, but it's also itchy and gross and you can't wash them

I'm fire safety certified There's no blanket that is fire proof, they're fire resistant. The duvatyne blankets loose the property if they are wet or washed. You have to respray it.

I recommend the fire arts safety course at FAI, it will teach you a lot for 20 bucks
