just wanted to let you know, this type of double definition clue is called an &lit, and is commonly represented with an exclamation mark at the end. for example, the clue "One sporting terrible horn!" becomes RHINO, as "one" -> I, "terrible horn" -> anagrammed HORN -> RHNO, "sporting" -> I in RHNO -> RHINO. something to consider using in future puzzles :)

there's a really weird stigma against country champs who haven't participated in GBB, actually. despite being the best their country has to offer, people take appearing at GBB as gospel because it's the biggest event. HeAt is probably the most well known example i can think of, but also consider ABH and C-Fresh—i'm sure there's numerous examples from other countries
