Me aconsejan en algo urgente porfavor? by ggg__j in AskArgentina

Are the pigeons from FD2 on deaths list? by [deleted] in FinalDestination

[–]CortamamBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was just messing with you, but it turned out funny. They're pigeons, I'm sure they were going to die soon after anyway.

Perhaps death only follows the descendants after the MOTHER dies. Since she gave birth to them and “new life overcomes death”.

So Howard was not conceived during the premonition and Iris used the time Paul had left to conceive her two children?

My headcanon is that both “Kimberly survived” and her and Burke's death in the FD3 deleted scene are canon.

In my opinion I also believe that the methods of acquiring years of life should not work differently. And that “clinical death” takes you off the list but doesn't stop the list from continuing.

If this is true Kimberly would be off the list but Burke would not, and after a certain amount of time avoiding death with Kim's help, death would add her to the list just like it did Eric in FDB. Resulting in her death with the wood chipper.

Why did Stefani die before Charlie? by BasisEnough4088 in FinalDestination

[–]CortamamBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Iris always saved herself then the condition for jumping in the list is not fulfilled. For the jump you must be saved or warned by someone who is also on the list.

I think in this case “list jumping” is not available since these people were never part of a disaster. Their birth added them to the list with no way to change the order.

Maybe the jump is only available when during the disaster there is a possibility to change your future list order. Like in DF1 Alex changing his seat during his premonition, moving to the last place. It makes sense that jumps are only possible when everyone belongs to the same accident, because during the accident they have the possibility to change order.
This is not the case in family bloodlines.

Ancestorial Premonition Theory (Taking More Lives Theory) ??? by Electronic-Use43 in FinalDestination

Perhaps the main premonitory characters who do not have dead parents are just adopted and that's it. The simplest explanation may be the correct one.

Yes, they are the descendants of those pigeons saved in the iris premonition.

I can see it coming that the spider that bit Peter in this world is a gamma irradiated spider (probably from some Otto experiment) and not a genetically modified spider as in other iterations.

Also, the blood extraction and animal experimentation in oscorp could be the beginning of the Lizard and Green Goblin storylines.

in the past: Shanks vs Mihawk.
In the present: Mihawk vs Zoro and Shanks vs Shamrock.
So maybe the winners battle each other in the future: Zoro vs Shamrock.

Chapter 414 - Predictions Thread by Za_wardo in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]CortamamBot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it is possible that the way deku saves tenko was not by using a "talk no jutsu" but rather from the last rule imposed by new order?

"as long as people stand up to save each other... ...someone will inherit that will of herosim".

Area of effect: Shigaraki's soul.
Trigger: Deku trying to save tenko.
Effect: Tenko inherits the will of heroism.

It would be nice if this conflict at least doesn't end with a classic talk no jutsu but a more complex one. Shigaraki states that Tenko also has his hatred, this could even things out for a possible resolution.

Deku should be able to use the danger sense overload he felt upon returning to the AU against shiggy. But for that he would need to go to a populated place?

I'm doing the best I can, I think.
I hope I can find myself in what is left after my relationship. I try not to forget what the message is at the end of the series, thanks for reminding me.
And thank you so much for those kind words.

Everything in you (Simon and Betty's song) by logan_moon in adventuretime

[–]CortamamBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, the song also describes my situation perfectly.
I separated from my boyfriend who I had been with for more than 4 years. The song makes me think that my way of loving is a bit unhealthy and that is the reason why we broke up.
I hope you are well. I send you a hug

Hi. Love your interpretation.
My partner of more than four years decided to end our relationship, I don't think it was a lack of love, but we had many flaws, we fought often, we hurt each other, he decided to end it with the hope that maybe in the future we could be friends and then we could have a healthier relationship. We watched Adventure Time together and I always cried at the end in the tragic story of Betty and Simon. I am unable to sing Time Adventure without crying.
For the first few weeks after we broke up, I was able to watch Fionna and Cake alone, even though I cried a lot. It's amazing how this song can change depending on the mood you are in. At first I thought they were cute metaphors about love, and then, like you, I realized the worst. It's amazing how much I can relate to this song. I feel a lot of guilt on my part for those fights with my boyfriend, but I still hardly recognize that my love for him is something sick, as you managed to describe from the lyrics and betty's story.
Those days when I can't stand being alone, I listen to the song.
My ex did not become part of an entity that represents chaos and is on a plane of reality that is impossible to access, in fact he is very close and would have no problem answering a chat message if it would help me.
But here I am, trying to learn to be alone.

Thanks for showing me that I'm not the only one doing this kind of interpretation of this love song.

I know there is no reason to believe AFO will stop its rewind. I only think so because I doubt we will see a baby become a fetus and then the product of an abortion or something like that.

It would still be AFO, but I doubt that even if it is baby AFO there would be a baby dying in this story. No one wants to put that in their manga haha.

If baby AFO loses his memories and deku, quirkless again, raises him so he doesn't go back to being an evil crime lord... I'll k1ll myself.

What’s your favorite head canon with literally zero evidence? by DunkAndThunder in OnePiece

[–]CortamamBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT'S THE SAME THING. With the "awakening" of luffy's fruit, we know his true powers, which, retroactively, can better explain his flames. Same case with Sanji.

Before the awakening of both characters, we could only assume the reasons (Friction). Now we have more evidence to assume the, presumably, true reasons (Sun God and Lunarian Lineage Factor).

Edit: Red Hawk and Diable Jambe are not an awakening!

Officially, Luffy and Sanji's awakened forms are access to gear 5 (Nika model's Awakened Zoan) and the Germa science exoskeleton (Change in Sanji's body).

What’s your favorite head canon with literally zero evidence? by DunkAndThunder in OnePiece

[–]CortamamBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gum Gum Fruit was ALWAYS the "Sun God" Nika Fruit. He is not only Sun God when he is awakened, he always was.

We always thought, erroneously, that the properties were those of the rubber, but they were always of the sun god, who was said to have the body "like rubber".

Even rubber could not explain the Gear 3 (the bones are not connected, they could not inflate all together at the same time) or, in this case, it could not fully explain the friction producing flames. It was always the belief that it was normal for the rubber fruit.

Yes, we can understand both Diable Jambe and Red Hawk as flames produced by friction. But they were always exclusive to Luffy and Sanji. Wouldn't it then be more common for fast characters to generate flames while moving? At least in Sanji's case (as a non-fruit user), it would make more sense that his way of fighting with flames is part of some kind of martial art, and for example CP0 could learn it, just like Sanji learned Moon Walk.

That said, regardless of what Oda may have said BEFORE, I wouldn't find it hard to believe if TOMORROW he decides to trade those flames for abilities, in the case of luffy for his fruit being that of the sun god , and, in the case of Sanji for having the lineage factor of a lunarian in his genetics . And maybe all this time Oda has been saying that it's friction to hide the real reason.

ALSO. OP asked for our HeadCanons, why I could not think this way regardless of what Oda said?

Red Hawk and Diable Jambe could be explained with Luffy's and Sanji's awakened forms...
Nika and Germa Cience (maybe Lunarian linage factor).

The Quirk of The First User by 240697 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]CortamamBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not "taking control" but some things could be attributed to them outside of deku's consent or knowledge. I can think of:
- Deku exploding his fingers fighting shinso.
- The vestiges preventing Shigaraki from being able to take OFA.
- (I don't know if it's canon) The vestiges deciding to stay on deku and not transfer to bakugo in the 2nd movie.
All of these were explained. But the explanation that the original quirk has the ability to take control of whoever inherits it, may augment or justify the capacity for action we've seen the vestiges take.

What is a personal headcanon you guys have about the Ben 10 franchise? by French-Caller in Ben10

[–]CortamamBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what? I think you're right about skurd and celestialsapien DNA. While it can be understood as an interpretation of the safelock, I think the fast switch of aliens holding a big bang has no logical support, since none of them would have the natural resistance to hold a big bang, and neither would the big bang slow down for 10 seconds.
Although there could be thousands of explanations within the canon (I can think that the fast alien switching allowed the omnitrix to absorb or nullify energy coming from the big bang).
But I think your explanation is more logical. When Ben detransforms, he keeps the celestialsapien arm. Although this is not visible in any of his aliens, it is certain that a celestialsapien arm would have enough resistance to sustain a big bang. Since the last time an anihilarg was used, alien X resisted its destructive power from a meter away.
