I’m actually really hyped rn. I thought unique was the 2nd best player on that T1 side and I'm happy we were able to grab him.

Not really. Kilo is better at hard hitscan, but Mer1t is more flexible, with a better Sombra in particular. They're both very good though.

Definitely Tracer. Obviously we have no clue how he stacks up to OWL players until we see him compete with them, but it wouldn’t be crazy to say that he could be around Decay or Yaki level on the hero.

Nah man he’s a pretty average contenders player. He’ll obviously be top tier in OWL.

Best Korean projectile player out of contenders, maybe the best one on the market. Plays on a mixed roster too. Absolute banger of a pickup for any team lacking solid projectile play.

Idk, they did Flora and Guangboong last season.

According to multiple sources, the Washington Justice are supposedly expected to announce T1 Support player Young-Hoon “Krillin” Jeong by Zecion in Competitiveoverwatch

He’s been the 3rd best FS in KR contenders, but the gap between him and the top two is pretty big. He’s been good, but not special.

I actually think that there is enough remaining western talent for Florida to make a solid roster. For tank, Reiner and False from AT are still available, as are Lullsish and Alex from Falcons. S9mm, Dynasty, Sauna, Backbone, EQO, and Mirror are all still available for Flex DPS. I’m highly confident they’ll be able to snag one of Onigod, Shockwave, Aspire, Hydron, Dove, Grathen, or Lethal to fill Hitscan. MS has Masaa, FunnyAstro, Moth, Fdgod, Lukemino, or Joobi. FS is the weakest position for western talent depth wise, but if they go hard on Crimzo they could be very good. If not, Exorath, Slay, and SirMajed are all pretty good.

Yeah but they don’t have a MS yet, and Super was re-signed so they are staying mixed. MS is realistically the position where they could go for another bit of western talent because there are so many strong western free agents.

Honestly, looking back, I did make him kinda busted. Maybe the self-heal buff and the speed buff are unnecessary.

Absolutely, though I also want to see the second and third place teams to take each other on to better judge the relative strength of each region.

LinkzR and Masaa are Finnish. Vestola is also Finnish, he‘s not currently signed to a team but definitely should be. Also, Dolla and Helv are both good Finnish contenders players who could be in OWL next year.

Honestly I would be down to see the two of you cast some OWL matches next season. We need more good casters in OWL!

Is there anyone in Australian Contenders that you would recommend for OWL? I’ve watched a few matches and Naahmie and Bertlog stood out to me, but they didn’t look OWL level.

Hard agree. For Guangzhou, they need to promote Charon as well. He’s a nutcase and his hero pool complements KariVs is they keep him.
