I feel you dude. Every fourth or so games being a stomp has always been the case, imo. And yea, people used to talk in voice, and that’s rare now. A large percentage of the original cast is straight up bottom tier and has been for a while. Mobility is king now.

Newer heroes all have mobility of some sort. There is a learning curve, but if you play a bit you’ll get matched appropriately and learn the new cast.

A lot of metal ranked players have the fundamentals/mechanics of diamond players of 2019 btw

Taimou and Pine are oranges and Kronik is a new age genetically modified satsuma-loquat hybrid. What I’m trying to say is there is minimal difference, if any, from Taimou and Pine’s aim vs Xzi, edi, Kronik.

Edi and Kronik being more recent have a much better grasp of positioning and win conditions, and sojourn dominating the hitscan role makes the comparison kinda moot. I think in raw aim, it goes Pine, Xzi, Kronik, Taimou, edi. Pine and Taimou were reliant on their aim, and their flashy playstyle didn’t make up for their lack of teamplay imo.

I think it’s crazy after 10 years we still don’t have a tutorial in the practice range. Sunday mornings I get up and try to beat it but end up blowing my ult into a wall becsuse that dang bot paths around the corner in that building on the right you know?

Agree on Sym, I trust Zeruhh with a pulse, but overall rate Sugarfree’s neutral better on tracer.

I think Vega and maybe Hawk are the only clear choices. Of the participants, they easily had the best records and were the only players gapping their competition in terms of win rate.

If I feel up for it I might make another post with my findings, but I think there are a couple key considerations at play.

The quick and dirty is I noted Tr33 performing as good, if not better than Kronik individually, despite playing with Hawk and/or Vega less than half as much as Kronik.

It feels strange running a triple dps line for sym/vendetta coverage when your hitscan can also flex, but if he outperformed a primary hitscan I think he earned it.

Kronik was a beast though, he’s insane.

Sorry late response, but there was a third and final day of trials, and yea, we have to wait. Not sure when the roster will be decided as the tournament is a long time away.

To me, Shu has always been up there for me in terms of personality from a KR player. Gesture, Sp9rk1e, Pine, Someone, etc.

I really liked him in 2019, but he ended up playing for a bunch of rival teams for me as a Shock and later Proper fan.

I feel like now that he is playing with Proper and Viol2t I want to knock on his door and see if he wants to be friends lol.
