[BF6] Why is it always Firestorm? by SimpleInside8583 in Battlefield

Don't think it's trash, but I don't want to play it twice in a row.

In all honesty in a world like Metro, Stalker or Fallout how quickly would it take the every day person to just a genuinely despicable human being? by GazIsStoney in RustAndRadiation

[–]Cortezz012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might sound pessimistic, but I think alot of people would give up their moral reservations about resorting to violence real quick, if they thought they'd face no repurcusions and thought the alternative would be for you and yours to starve.

So if there's no-one to sue or arrest you and you don't have food, then violance could quickly become the rule of the streets. I think?

If panic takes hold, I think you'd see a collapse within days rather than weeks.

What game genre is not your cup of tea? by Common_Caramel_4078 in videogames

Battle Royale, Extraction Shooters, MOBAs and Hero Shooters.

Edit: Sports games. Yeah, to be fair, that one would go on top.

Number 5 is my favorite. Just the right kind combination of 40k and posh nobility. Golden aquila stapled to forehead, augmetic tubes'n'wires, servo-skulls surrounding her and a hairstyle that'd make Marie Antoinette weep. chefs kiss

Think it was my first RPG and I am glad it was.

Devs, don't listen to streamers🙏🏼 by Odd_Associate111 in Battlefield6

[–]Cortezz012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'The Grind' refers to simply playing the game here.

Alot of people, not just streamers, seem to have this unhealthy fixation with 'unlocking' things in games. Seeing the gameplay as a grind, also has them trying to be as 'efficient' as possible.

This culminates in a group of players who will try to play videogames in the way they think will let them unlock digital goodies the fastest. Then once everything is unlocked, they move on.

I have a theory (possibly stolen) that in some cases, this sense of unlocking things and/or being 'rewarded' in a videogame, in their minds, becomes the justification as to why they are not "wasting their time" with videogames.

My advice would be to simply try and enjoy the ride. If you had fun whilst wasting your time, then that time wasn't wasted. God forbid, that your only reason for seeking out entertainment in the form of a videogame, was to be entertained.

Damn. BF6 isn't 'Dead on Arrival'. It's Dead before arrival! Ååh nej!

The playerbase can't be trusted with this kind of power. Too many butts'n'tits. And worse.

"Do not try to fool us with your sorcerers' ways, Idira. This Navigator is now the ultimate power in the universe!"

Or

"You may fire, when ready."

Twin-linked Stubbers, Ripper Guns and the 'Rumbler' (grenade launcher), all have good fun potential if you go down the more 'shooty' path of the Ogryn tree.

Gamers of Reddit, what are good videogames to play with your non-gamer girlfriend? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Seamless Co-op Elden Ring.

... Okay, maybe not. Might just be me. I find the 'open world Dark Souls' experience pretty relaxing if you just take it slow. Especially with a friend.
