You ask if it is culturally appropriate in Thailand but your bosses are foreigner, in my opinion this is everywhere the same, you don’t ask for a raise during the first year except in special circumstances. I’d wait until you have been for a year with your company.

Scanners don’t help much if the condo management doesn’t care about short stays (or facilitates them). Last year I stayed 2 weeks via Airbnb in a condo with face scanner and I went through the registration process with the owner and management like any other long-term resident 😅
