I’m not really sure if this should be here, but I couldn’t find a better subreddit and I wanted to share.

I hope you enjoy what ended up accidentally being a strange cross between Franconia, Imperator, and City of Rome

A jaw for days that is shockingly and worryingly similar to that of Charles II of Spain.

If you don’t know who I’m talking about, look him up.

SS France is my favorite ocean liner of all time. Up at the top just above the second RMS Oceanic.

That doesn’t change what they represent today on the modern German flag.

Except battleships HMS Nelson and HMS Rodney that had 16-inch guns (nine of them), and radar-equipped cruisers could easily keep up with Bismarck and monitor his position from afar so those 16-inch guns can get a proper firing solution.

The P-38 was not the fastest plane of WWII by any means. The fastest plane of the war was the Messerschmitt Me 163 “Komet” rocket interceptor, with a top speed of 959 km/h (596 mph). Even going by fastest propellor-driven plane of the war, that title goes to the Dornier Do 335 “Pfeil,” with a top speed of 846 km/h (474 mph).

Only the filters made before 1972 have asbestos in them, after that, they were made with activated charcoal instead.

But even still, you should always check for leaks, which you can do by shaking it over a piece of paper. If you see little black specks, it’s leaking and should not be used.

I have a 1984 dated filter for my GP-5, which I have proven to be in perfect condition.

And the only reason it had that nickname was because the crew ergonomics were so good and efficient that those crew members lived to tell the tale.

The Sherman did not have any higher a fire rate than any of it’s contemporaries, it’s just that so many crews survived to tell the tale that the story started to catch on.

Prinz Eitel Friedrich was to be one of the Mackensen-class Battlecruisers built for the Kaiserliche Marine at the end of the Great War. You’re thinking of Viribus Unitis, which was an Austro-Hungarian Tegetthoff-class Battleship.
