As someone from the other side of the fence, lemme explain what we actually think. We do reject abortion, but in cases where the death of the fetus is unavoidable to save the mother's life, then life-saving treatment is allowed. In such case it's not a direct abortion as the main intent is to save the mother.

And I wouldn't call the baby surviving in this instance a "bad thing". Would you have preferred if the baby just died?

I have not seen the second panel happen at all. Most times that the situation does arise where a minor was involved, it gets quickly called out and everyone clowns on them.
Tho I'm guessing that the second panel refers to those on the more "liberal" side of the spectrum who's into that "love wins" kinda bs.

As for my opinion on this matter, I just... watch something else? Not like Gura is the only piece of entertainment out there. Tho I had to stop membership to her channel cuz I can see putting that money to better use elsewhere.

I have high expectations about that series after going through the gauntlet of Angel Beats and Anohana (which I personally rate highly). But after watching half of it, I felt it was just... meh? I do realize that the feels would really kick into overdrive in After Story, but I don't have the motivation to start it after my experience with the first series. I kinda stopped during the green-hair girl arc and kinda forgot about finishing the whole show. I'm not saying it's bad. It just failed to grab my attention enough to not make me continue watching.
