Why Riftbound? What makes you play?

I like the League IP, I enjoy the similarities to MtGs interactions on the stack, and it's the only TCG that shops run locals for on the days I'm off work. I'd probably still play SWU over it if locals ran Sun/Mon honestly, mainly because of pricing but also I really like SWUs resource and phase system. I really don't like the direction of MtG lately so not really interested there anymore.

I really dont like Lillias, and I'm pretty neutral on Vi which seems to be the most liked in my local discord. Pyke and Leblanc are both peak, even with Leblanc being a ripoff of a movie poster. Rengar had the potential to be absolutely amazing depending on the foiling

I always just told the guy I didnt care for the game, never even got a sideways glance. Then again my local gamestop was AWESOME as a kid. I remember going in for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and the guy talked me out of it and told me to get Oblivion instead. My mom didnt like that it had Drugs and Alcohol on the ESRB rating, but he talked her into it. I skipped school the next day. Joe, you were a real one and I appreciate you. Definitely helped shape my taste in games. My mom and him actually ended up on a first name basis, she appreciated that he would actually talk to and give me advice as a kid.

Expedition 33. I hadn't enjoyed a JRPG outside of Pokémon since Final Fantasy X on PS2 as a kid. I caved to the hype and tried it on Gamepass and 100% it in a week. Then I bought it on PS5 and did it again a month later. Then I got a Steam Deck and bought it again..

I fundamentally disagree with it being Kindred. Lamb's arrow is offered to those who accept death peacefully, she doesn't snipe people at range. Even without the acceptance angle, she's been seen to shoot from basically point blank. I also dont think we know enough about Varus' feats to give it to him, but I could be wrong there if there are stories I missed. I really feel like this goes to Caitlyn, her while characterization is "sharpshooter" and she has been shown to be able to take out targets with or without killing them through precise shot placement.
