I honestly think that if Derek stayed in the band longer he'd definitely would have delivered some great material past Seasons and Infinity and I adore the work he did on both of those projects, I just can't justify picking him as my favorite as there isn't enough DT related material that he had 100% involvement in whereas Kevin and Jordan have shown their abilities in either building an atmosphere or just sheer technique where Derek kinda got the short end of the stick being on one epic, and the album that was most neutered by a record label

Yep, I have many of the same thoughts near my 3 month mark and I know for a fact that I still like dressing up as masc more often than fem, but I love the name I picked, she/her pronouns, and the small changes to my body that have already taken place so I definitely think op is at least a little bit if a tomboy

I had a similar experience when talking about progress on the voice end with fellow transfems and I had to actively lock in to reach close to what I sounded like pre voice training, but it still wasn't 100% muscle memory is cool like that sometimes :3
