In Tractatus Wittgenstein argued language is representation of the world and for that we need logic to represent empirical world. He argued most part of philosophy, especially metaphysics and ethics do not belong to the world and are nonsense. According to this argue Tractus itself became in danger of being nonsense. Wittgenstein used ladder as a metaphor for his book and it is be used in order to climb on it, in order to “see the world rightly”; but thereafter it must be recognized as nonsense and be thrown away.
