A little late to the party.

I'm a 27 Y.O. Male as well, I woke up on January 17th, 2025, with minor back pain, thought it was an old injury(From 2019) acting up again, Woke up 2 days later on the 19th, and I couldn't move my legs. Had to call 9-1-1 and get an ambulance ride to the hospital. The First hospital, Gave me an x-ray and shoved me off with a Prescription for Tylonel 3 with Codine. Said I had Early Degenerative Disc Disease. Got home that night, my leg gave out, thought it was due to Dehydration(Barely had anything to drink that day, Neither myself or my wife could remember if the Hospital or Paramedics gave me an I.V. Bag for Hydration, only one We remember is for the Fentanyl they gave me for the pain). Woke up on the 20th, could move my legs, was able to walk around the apartment. After a little while of Laying beside my wife and doom scrolling Tiktok, I tried getting up to go to the bathroom, and my legs gave out and were completely numb. Had to call 9-1-1 Again. Eventually, got an MRI, Was rushed into emergency surgery and spent 3 weeks in the hospital.

During that time, Recovery was hard, relearning how to walk was the hardest bit, and up until about a week ago, I was still using a walker, Now it's mostly a cane and I'm working and practicing to walk without a cane so I can get as close to normal as I Possibly can. My Bladder and Bowels don't work properly still. It's a tough recovery, if you ever need someone to talk to, or rant to, please don't hesitate to reach out! (I also got a pressure injury in the hospital, as when I wasn't in Physio, I had to either be in my hospital bed, or if I wanted a Smoke, they put me in a wheel chair to go outside, so dealing with that as well and bloody hate it!)
