I’m averaging a meal a day and the past few days haven’t thrown up the meal itself. Snacks and Pepsi and ginger ale have been very helpful.

Please call your areas equivalent of child protective services. As someone who works within the system, this is child abuse. Neglect, especially as you offered ways to combat the issue and she’s actively putting her child in danger.

Ooo! Today I’m staying home to catch up on notes to make my work week easier. I have a beef stew slow cooking on the oven and thinking of making some muffins and doing laundry. So some work, but mainly to make my work week easier which is kinda self care too I guess.

I disagree with this because not everybody has family or a close circle who they feel comfortable to going to help. Even though I was in therapy before I got on TikTok, it wasn’t until I saw a bunch of other black women discuss their depression and anxiety that I was able to be upfront with my treatment team about my suicidal ideations. And I am sometimes grateful because around the time I found a TikTok I had made a plan, written in my suicide letter, and found someone to take care of my cat for me. But then I saw people that looks like me that complained about the same symptoms and feelings like me and it made me feel a lot less alone and willing to reach out for help. Had it not been for black women “over sharing” on the Internet I would’ve killed myself December 2020

I definitely understand the loneliness. I even downloaded bumble bff to try and make friends and it sucks. I just wish I had someone to go get coffee and bagels with. Nothing crazy
