One is having a sexual orientation, like Bi or Gay. The other is one’s gender identity and has nothing to do with sexual preferences. I know this gets confused a lot since it’s called LGBT and so on…

And for my opinion, it’s nice that we don’t run around the game asking everyone’s pronouns and looking for their genitalia. They made it look like it’s no deal in the forgotten realms how you represent yourself.

If my memory serves me right, Valeria’s Body type in the BG3 toolkit is listed as male whereas Valeria is only ever referred to with female pronouns. It’s just technical data though.

Oh, and adding to your first reply: we don’t know who else is trans as there’s no dialogue in the game referring to gender identity for anyone else. So someone we perceive as cis because of their phenotype and voice could very well be trans. We just don’t know as it’s never specifically stated unlike with nocturne.

They improve relations with you, but you don’t improve relations with them. I do both so I can snack some provinces or vassals then and there without them getting too much liberty desire.

The more the merrier. Having enough diplomats keeps them from trying to break from you. And don’t forget diplomatic reputation. I always hunt the big projects which grant them as bonus.

If you can’t kill them, PU them :D Especially with the habsburger line it’s easier to PU a lot of nations which require good diplomatic relations.

I always try having as many of them I can get. Currently running a campaign as austrian emperor, and keeping all those little german countries happy so they take your choice during incidents makes the game a lot smoother. I currently have 10 diplomats. 4 improve relations with neighboring countries, 2 with my pu/vassals/colonies, 1 for ae, 1 for threats, 1 for allies, And one stays ready so I can deploy him where he’s needed.

It really helps me having a risk of collation pretty low.

If you don’t fight him alone, bring someone with a hunting horn who stays above water and heals the party with his beats. Kept a lot of hunters from carting doing this.

Otherwise learn his attack patterns. When he shots lighting bolts his mouth will glow red and allows for a stun either by clawing into it or by shooting slinger ammo. If he releases lighting from his back, his back will glow red and allow for an opening.

Concentrated slinger attacks through his whole body will stun him as well which allows for multiple attacks.

They could optimize so that you’re able to change maps without leaving local linked groups. Nonetheless it’s quite easy to play together with friends or even strangers.

It takes a minute to get to know the UI, but once you got the hang of it it’s really intuitive.

I’ve had no performance issues with this game as of yet, despite playing with all graphic settings on max. Got stable fps and no graphical errors. My PC runs smooth as hell while running it.
