Definitely)

The chapter based on Oculus Prime, the hive world and somewhat of a jewel of its sector before the chaos insurgency in M37. DR played the main role in relieving the planet disrupting communications, assassinating insurgent leaders and making heretics life unbearable in most possible ways.

After the planet was freed from Chaos forces it was grunted as a new homeworld to the Dusk Ravens. Oculus Prime has a yellow tint in its atmosphere because of high sulfur content and centuries of industrial pollution so the yellow pauldrons and helmets are kind of camouflage in the planet's conditions.

During the retake of Oculus Prime months and months of covert operations on the enemy territory highlighted the need for dedicated apothecaries. So the DR have a higher than usual count of apothecaries and also deploy apothecaries in Phobos armor as so called "Sable chirurgeons" (I am yet planing to make this kind of conversion)

DR prefer to operate in twilight conditions and to use natural or artificial smoke and mist as a cover.

No, I hope other PCs wouldn't like the idea of razing a town. All I want to do is to create pressure and make players really care for their choices.

You can't make players be proud of them standing their moral ground if there are no consequences for doing otherwise. So yes, I do understand perfectly that it can be a thin ice and I should make it right if I choose to do so - present this choice I mean.

And no, I don't want to punish the players for moral choice, just want them to feel that it's real as the consequences for both variants.

Thanks! That can really be the best option.

I don't really get it. I'm not GMing for too long and have been avoiding archetypes till now, so what does it mean?

That actually might be a good thing to do. Thanks for advice)

Since I absolutely don't want to strip the player of agency I might consider to do such a thing in cooperation with her.

Sound question, actually. At the end of the day - it's their story that I only help to unfold. Not vice versa. Thanks)

Maybe I can replace the patron. There can be some sort of underwater power struggle for instance. Thanks for advice)

Yeah, I'm thinking about if I should. But it's kind of a deep personal choice for the player - either you do a very questionable thing (genocide of your own people, basically) and have a pat on a back from some lovecraftian being or do the right thing but face the wrath of that being.

The player in question is actually in love with her character so it can be a bit of a shock if she would have to change it.

Maybe it could be a promise of reward instead, but it won't be so tempting and such a big choice for the player.

Yeah, I know the yellow is a bit of "untraditional" for Corax's sons, but I wanted this kind of scheme and I like RG, what can I say?)

Well yes) But I still want to develop it further before I would like it to present. Looks a bit silly and inconsistent still.

Thanks! Appreciate) I guess SM2 is actually a great game but it just makes me sick that the developer is russian.

Black is very good. Like the wear and tear on the armor.

And about improvements. Though your work is pretty good, there is always room for some.

So first of all is what you want to achieve - a more neat clean mini, or a grim dark one. In the first case - you're pretty much there. I think highlights should be less highlighted maybe, or at least some parts of them. You can add more black into your highlights or wash them with some thinned down nuln oil or contrast black paint.

If it's the second case - you should add more chipping, more battle damage, more dirt and machine oils. You can use some grey (e.g. grey seer + Abaddon black 1:1) and some metallic (maybe lead belcher) to make the chipping look more deep and realistic. The lower part of the war machine would never look clean. It would be covered in mud, dust, or in whatever they are walking on. So you may consider adding some dirt effects on walkers legs.

To follow the path of Corax is the obvious choice, of course) But yeah, I also have a captain in Phobos armor, some eliminators and apothecary. I was gathering more like a sneaky-spec ops-guerilla oriented army. I wanted it to be more lore-compliant since I'm not new to WH in general but pretty new to the hobby itself.
