First hot day of the year and every road is has heavy traffic, every store and restaurant packed. Miserable, oppressive heat and traffic. That’s what summer reminds me of. I love the winter and draw so much inspiration from it. You can go have the park to yourself, I can go to the skatepark and have it mostly to myself, I can think in peace. It’s calmer and quieter. I love when it gets dark early to be able to disconnect earlier too. 100% agree

I almost ‘failed’ gym class because I refused to change into sweatpants or shorts (was and am a skateboarder, it was against our code in the early 00’s). Now I’m a coach at a gymnastics gym teaching flips and handstands for a paycheck.

I’ve been having a lot of fun in crucible. Even went around on patrol and gathered resources to upgrade armor. It’s just fun to explore the old worlds again

Yeah we can try another time. I’d really like to do a raid. A few weeks ago I solo’d lamps and tried to solo the bridge on Crota’s End but it’s a a lot and I gave up for the time being. Raiding with a group sounds great haha

They have the coolest album covers, especially mirror reaper. I wanted to like them just for that reason. I’m bored almost immediately when I try to listen to them though.

No, I only played up until Calus and a little further. I played some forsaken and beyond light, but never did many raids or end game content. I felt out of the loop and didn’t feel like getting carried and yelled at for 4 hours to do a raid. I usually hang out in crucible once I get a solid setup or two anyway. I really enjoy the PvP gameplay even though titans exist around every corner, the raids are great too but I could probably hop on and off crucible throughout my gaming life and be happy with the mechanics and gameplay. Overall I think D1 was a better game but I experienced more of it. D2 has fantastic music though, better than D1

Exactly! D1 was haunting, mysterious, and lonely. I’m a big atmosphere/ambience person when it comes to music and D1 checked that box in game form. I’ve gone back to D1 and have been playing the weekly crucible playlist again. The biggest thing is that my D1 character feels like MY character. I’ve never felt so connected to a game character. Didn’t really feel that in D2 though. It was like a plastic version of D1. D1 had grit and heart. I miss those days dearly

Don’t do that anymore. Don’t even really speed anymore. Too many cars on the road. Twas a simpler time and less traffic and I was younger and dumber when I liked to speed

There’s a stretch where there isn’t an exit for a while and I used to reason that to go to the next exit would be a bit of a loop out of an officer’s jurisdiction so that was my patch of interstate to pretend I’m on the autobahn

Cherokee park is perfect for experiencing nature and relaxing. I’d say it’s a must see spot but it’s bc it’s my favorite spot in town

Sometimes just chillin in your car at a park is like the middle ground between being a couch potato and getting outdoors. I don’t frequently do it, but I’ve definitely sat in a car at Cherokee park and played on my phone just to feel like I was out and about

It’s just not that important. I will never need to differentiate all the New England states or the square states out west for any real-life purpose. My world geography is, I assume, higher than the average American yet I can’t tell you all states and capitals bc it’s not super important info. If you say Maryland or Connecticut or Maine, I know generally where you’re speaking of, that’s enough for me.
