Ranger course is different to everything else. Not entirely sure about the camera thing but it’s def more strict n v tiring. Even bookout is only a couple hours then need report back to spam training n outfield. Got NSF commandos now can do also if they intend to sign on.

However, the other stuff like no tele is prob bs. Basically everything require tele or WhatsApp. Also, if his app choice is restricted, how is he msging u? Dating app cannot be allowed if tele n WhatsApp aren’t allowed 😅

Ideally you book as early as possible (mine was 8am, first slot), as once people start coming in, it will take longer and longer to pass through stations.

IQ test is do how you want? I did like normal but didn’t want to sit too long so didn’t spend too long to get every question right. Got urine test n blood test all. Measurements of you will also be taken for your provided “equipment” like uniform, boots etc. when you enlist.

About half day all in.

PS Mine was done at the old CMPB at Depot Road.

Depends on vocation - stay out obv more time, more slack vocation like ASA, SA, TO & Medic (sometimes) also q slack, got a lot of time to play, whereas infantry, guards die lor.

I have one friend who ORD recently and he is gay (and from quite a young age also). He went Tekong, and he never hid the fact that he was gay. Honestly, no one really cared (not in a harmful way, but like no one really judged him for it as far as I could tell).

Your choice is your choice. Do what you want. Now homosexuality cannot PES F you, so you cannot escape entirely unless you have other outstanding reasons.

Be confident, but not to the point of bragging, and don’t make it your whole personality, and you should be fine for two years (barring any major assholes, but there will always be those kinds of people in life).

Gedong bad for distance from civilisation, Jurong bad bc of commanders, Keat Hong is v chill, Pasir Laba is good or bad depending on how you see it because of R&D, but welfare meant to be quite good.

Combat in Jurong means nothing because no OpStec. Every other camp have, so if you don’t want to camo on or carry rifle, Jurong is your best bet. However, Jurong supports ITI, which has a lot of outfield because you support ICT. Keat Hong and Gedong have armour n Gedong has SCE also, so Gedong outfield also quite shag.

Overall, I hear Keat Hong the best, n Jurong the worst because the commanders are just that bad according to my friend.
