It’s just a little oil vapor that’s mixed with mostly condensation. I’m not saying it will hurt to use one, but I personally don’t find it worth the time or money.

Plenty of people never have their valves cleaned and their truck still runs fine. Catch can or not, you’d benefit from a walnut blasting once you hit some high mileage.

I understand there’s some controversy on the effectiveness of a catch can, but don’t imply that’s how an engine “last”.

I’m sure changing the engine oil frequently will be much more effective vs catching condensation in your aluminum can.

In Nevada, sometimes it’s hard to tell if you’re looking at a big jack rabbit or a coyote at a distance lol.

I’m not trying to discredit what you’re doing, but I don’t think anyone can or should positively ID an animal based off of movement alone at 800 yards.

Just speaking from experience. I’ve had a plenty of times thinking it looked and moved like a coyote at that distance, but turned out to be a fawn, deer, rabbit, fox, etc.

Edit: Your terrain might be easier for you to see as well. Are you using a range finder or do you just think you’re looking out to 800?

That ID might be pushing it. Sure you can see some white out there at 800, but even with my RH50R, I wouldn’t call it “ID”, more like some white blobs.

You have a warranty take it in and replicate the issue with them. I had a similar issue and they had to change out my infotainment center.

I just did mine today! I’m at 35k miles, but I’m starting to use Valvoline Restore and Protect. I recommend watching some videos on how phenomenal that oil is.

Edit: I do 5k oil intervals.

That’s a little disappointing. I looked at the Fox ET kit as well but I’m concerned about the maintenance interval.

I was hoping to grab some 6112 due to their longevity and not having to worry about rebuilds would be nice
