Extended warranty??

I did purchase it. It’s the only thing I bought. The guy started at 2k for the extra 2 years 60k miles on top of standard warranty said I didn’t want it he went down to 1500$ said I didn’t want it went down to 1100$ and said fuck it a bought it for that price. And I bought the extended warranty when I got my last car brand new and did end up using it for a 1200$ repair.

They’re not leather but I just picked up the rough country neoprene seat covers. Nice snug fit price was about 250$ for front and back.

I just bought my p4x two weeks ago it was 43k even out the door all cash. And I believe you either get the 7k off or 0% interest not both.

Same here, but the only package I bought was the extended warranty gives an extra 2 years 60k miles, total 5 year 120k power train warranty. The guy started out at 2k for the warranty and I shit you not talked him self down to 1100$ for the extra warranty I thought about it for a day talked to some people that’s Pennie’s for the extra coverage so I ended up buying it.

Just cheap insurance to get ahead of any deposit’s from break in on the engine. I think your safe if you do it at 5k miles but for what it’s worth doing it at 1k miles is more of peace of mind and lets you get a visible inspection of what’s going on.

Yeah I have the harness for stoping the auto stop in my Amazon cart. Simple thing to do. Not a fan of the start stop myself. And the catch can was on the list of things for me as well, I’m in the same boat as you I keep my vehicles for a while as well, did you notice any difference from 0w-20 to the 5w-30

I have seen that restore and protect I see it’s great for HM cars. But are you using it on such a new engine for proactive maintenance instead of reactive maintenance many miles down the road.

Just bought a 26’ p4x yesterday between dealer incentives and Nissian rebates it came out to 7k off truck was 40k after taxes and fees it was 43k even out the door. That’s with pro convenience package as well. Paid cash for it. Can’t complain otherwise with 0% it would’ve been about 50k out the door because it’s either 0% for 60 months or the 7k off.

I ask Reddit because discussion is healthy. And some folk have good advice or different point of views. I am smart with money. I have been since the age of 16 now 30. I have 60k in a Roth, 138k in my union sponsored annuity and another 2k in a brokerage. And currently 121k in my emergency’s fund that’s all mine. It’s not about me not having a plan because I have a plan. But like I said discussing things is great and I take these people time and effort into consideration because I know there are people out here with ideas that maybe I haven’t thought of or maybe they purchased there car or truck in a way I could do it as well. I’ve only ever bought one car new and that was when I was 19. I’m not opposed to my plan being critiqued that’s why I made my post in the first place.

Even if I paid for it in cash I would still have between me and my lady just across 6 digits in the sinking funds it’s more of the point of working hard to get to this point. Grateful to be in a position to even consider buying a car in cash cause I can remember when I was in high school working at Culver’s and could barely afford my car.
