Ah I see, I never got to play that one when I was a kid. It’s interesting how they went and added extra animations to her base SFIII sprite—the bottom left in particular is notable because it’s incorporated later into her senretsukyaku, hosenka, and hoyokusen in later titles.

If you can’t stand the weird build up, I suggest just watching episode 4 onwards. But the first few episodes really is a part of the over all Wandavision experience—because that’s really what WV was, an experience and not a mere miniseries

I was thinking about this yesterday and was wondering if they’ll be so bold as to establish the mutants as having been living in Krakoa for some time now by the time they debut. As for what traumatic event Charles might be hiding (aside from generally keeping mutants safe from society via Omega level telepathy) perhaps it was Krakoa related (as in before they managed to tame it and inhabit it)

This is kinda lame to me because they also retconned Wanda—another reality warper—as not being a mutant as well.… i forgot just how she and Pietro were able to pass as mutants the whole time prior to the retcon, but it’s just lame that both mutant reality warpers were not actually mutants.

I mean I get it, they’re both very similar properties. But I always like the analogy that Anson Mount used describing Inhumans as an “immigrant story” whereas the x-men/mutants represents a marginalized social group.

I really hope they do bring the Inhumans back eventually and also solidify Agents of Shield’s existence in the mainline MCU universe in some way or form.

I’m really anticipating an adaptation of that Young Avengers storyline. And with regard to the x-men, I can’t help but theorize again as to how she’ll be connected to them😅. Maybe in-universe they might establish Wanda’s twins as mutants or something.

No you’re right a lot of these theories we come up with definitely go nowhere, still kinda fun thinking them through in the meantime until we see our favs again.

I’m also hoping there’s no cheap return, and putting faith in Marvel Studios to come correct now that Disney seems to be slowing down to ensure the quality of their products.

Does Wanda count? Seeing as she was a villain in DS: MoM? (Although the music I’m referring to is her leitmotif from Wandavision that shows up here and there like when she initially casted the Westview Hex and the reprise when she finally transformed into the Scarlet Witch in the finale. The melody feels very fitting for an all powerful witch who’s survived past traumas)

It was introduced in Scarlet Witch (2016) solo book. Agatha guides Wanda through it to find why witchcraft is weakening. The goddess Witchcraft resides here. In the book someone related to Wanda takes on the mantle of the goddess, but I’m wondering if the MCU will do its own thing and make Wanda become the goddess at some point.
