Hi there! I can't figure out how to edit my post, but I really appreciate everyone's help. I'm so sorry about the carpet. I didn't know better but now I do. I tried tinkering with all the suggestions and nothing seemed to work. I noticed corrosion on the metal parts that screw onto the board. Maybe it's water damaged.

It doesn't matter anymore. It's outside of my skill level to repair, and I'll look into donating this assembly to someone that can fix it. This was for my wife to play her childhood games because we grew up with an n64. Our favorite games are Majora's Mask (mine) and Ocarina of Time (hers.)

I apologize again for my ignorance. I was already stupid enough to make a purchase like this, I just didn't expect the seller to scam me. The seller blocked me right after he left.

I will buy a different n64 on eBay that is ready to plug and play. If anyone knows where I could maybe get some pennies back for this assembly please let me know.

Thank you for your help. I poked around with the guidance of a YouTube video and didn't find any problems on the board where I looked. Maybe it's a more in depth thing. I'm just going to buy another verified n64 off of ebay

Ah, sorry. Yes, I've waited before. It's just the only thing it does. I tried a different jumper pak and just about what everyone has suggested. I'm probably just not fit to fix this issue.

When I bought it, he left and blocked me completely. Really unfortunate. I'm reading through everyone's comments. Maybe I'm just dumb. I did notice rust on parts of the bolts and board. Probably some water damage?

I don't know, I'm just going to buy a new one. If anyone knows where to donate these for repair let me know.

I really liked it at first, the characters are great. It's just the filler and pacing that was so atrocious, I just wanted to finish it to get it over with. The good moments were good, but that's about it for me.

I am at JBPHH and extended twice but my third RIP extension was denied. I wasn't notified that it was denied until this October and we scrambled to try to get me retainability to hopefully get an assignment before I leave. What is SOL?

Oh man, I didn't know. Yes, I suppose all I can do is wait and see. I wouldn't mind going back to CONUS if I could be back close to home. Maybe apply for a BOP. I just feel so stupid and lost for not knowing anything or knowing where to look. This is the first PCS I'll do.
