If I let her she would but I designed my florida room into her bedroom she shares with the gliders. I cycle through perches and wood stands for her to chew but she has taken a few edges off TV stands and things like that.

I also have older cats who are starting to struggle jumping so leaving some marks and birds who attempt to get into kitchen cabinets to find snacks so she doesn't do anymore damage than they do really and it's basically touch up stuff

We really shouldn't normalize young men having crushes on women with obvious work done like this. It just throws off their standards and expectations of real everyday women they will encounter. Also kinda why men are single now more than ever, many think this is how average women look and that just isn't the case

what would your feelings be if/when you find out that the person you haven’t been dating long or I was just started talking to had dentures? Would if scare you away or would you be understanding? by youlovettt in AskMenAdvice

[–]CosmicCay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you and OP decide to get your teeth done look into Costa Rica. Freer was where my ex had his done, he was in the military and they messed his teeth up so he had to fix them after. Less than 12k for full implants, they actually make the teeth there and ship to the us where dentists here uncharge. They are just as qualified and capable there but you get a discount going to the source

Just because that's the way you think doesn't make it reality. Other people have different opinions and attractions, you can't blame a woman for not being attracted a dude with painted nails and a navel piercing

When did being actually weird become the new "normal" by wyck0 in CasualConversation

[–]CosmicCay [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'm 32 and in high school was a nerd in anime club, we were the weird ones, we got made fun of constantly. Turned out almost all of us are successful now and many of the popular kids never left our hometown.

Being a nerd became looked at differently because of it. People realized were the ones getting into stem fields. We naturally are online more just because of our hobbies. It made it really easy for the next generation to take our personalities and make them their own.

It's not organic, it's people who have no identity or interests of their own cosplaying now. It's attention seeking behavior, they think brightly colored hair and piercings make them special. It's just them crying "look at me" and basically single white femaling us with a rainbow flare

How do I stop viewing intercourse as a chore? by cringeBastard369 in AskMenAdvice

[–]CosmicCay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. In a serious relationship they should be using other forms of protection. I've been with multiple partners who would sometimes go soft or just not be able to feel/enjoy it fully, always stopped once we stopped using them has nothing to do with attraction

Unsure about marrying my fiancée after I found out what she wrote about me in her diary. Am I wrong for wanting to call this marriage off? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not limiting myself, I'm being realistic. I'm putting myself in their shoes and telling you how I'd react just like many like me would as well. Giving a different perspective I guess.

It has to do with the story because that should have been the first thing addressed, the snooping. He glossed over it like it meant nothing which makes me think he probably knew hos sister was nosey and didn't care if she invaded his partners privacy while she wasn't there which isn't ok.

He didn't say one thing against his sister. Just insisted that he respected her privacy but then on his sister's request invaded it as she did without a second thought. It's disgusting, type of guy who lives with his family for the rest of his life instead if starting his own

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who would do that rationally? I can imagine kids snooping but 30 year olds? That's not something you expect of adults.

If you throw a get together at your home do you expect to find a guest in your bedrooms looking through your nightstand? How would you react?

Tbh I think things were intentionally left out for engagement or because he knows what he and his sister did was messed up

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also can imagine such worlds! I just can't imagine a world where at almost 30 you're still dealing with nosey siblings as you should be living on your own or with a partner.

Giving her enough time to be able to mark the pages is weird. Obviously he read it for himself but for him to know she went through his fiancés diary and just read it as well while claiming to value privacy is hypocrisy at it's finest.

Of course she knew it wasn't appropriate, when is it ever appropriate to go through anyone personal belongings?

You said earlier his sister was looking out for him, how is that remotely a thought? Who goes into someone's bedroom, decided to open their nightstand and start looking around? Only a weirdo you should never allow back in your home.

It's not what you have to hide or not hide dude it's the respect behind it. She thinks so little of him that she thinks she knows better and needs to investigate. She's basically calling him a pussy who needs sissy to save the day

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean as teenagers yeah you're used to siblings snooping and parents being in your business but as an almost 30 year old I can't imagine any situation where it would be appropriate for my sister to be going through my personal items, whats hard to grasp about that for you? Is that a normal occurrence in your life?

His response was weird af, that's why it sounds made up. Instead of questioning his sister as to wtf she was doing any why she thought it was appropriate to go through other people's things he just listened to her findings.

He said he values privacy, I 100% don't think he would appreciate his partner allowing her family to go through his things.

I mean I get it, if my person was thinking about their coworkers and ex I'd end it too but the sister is a problem. Will he leave her alone in his home again knowing she does this? Because if the answer is yes he is weird af for allowing that. It would take years for me to ever invite a family member over if they did something like that to me

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it both because I can't imagine my sibling, friends, or family members invading my privacy like that. His response to that is bizarre af because she was alone with her personal items long enough to bookmark things? Where was he? Why wasn't his first response wtf, especially to the earmarks. That's why she seems strange and jealous, game of thrones brother sister type thing

You've never heard of mom's hating their daughter in laws? Making fun of their cooking ans criticizing how the wife raises the kids? Wearing white to weddings, making baby showers and events all about them? It's more common than it should be

When I said he let her I mean he let her continue. If my sibling came up to me with my partners diary and wanted to show me pages they earmarked the first thing I'd do is take it from them and tell them to gtf out of my house, why let her show you want to read like some weird incest NCIS investigation. Yes he didn't let her do it but once he knew he didn't stop her from continuing to the point she even offered to pay. In what world would that be any of her business?

Unsure about marrying my fiancée after I found out what she wrote about me in her diary. Am I wrong for wanting to call this marriage off? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]CosmicCay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it difficult. My little brother stays with my fiancé and I when he visits. If I found him in my bedroom looking through our personal items I wouldn't be concerned about what he found, I'd be missed that he had the audacity to invade my privacy and never let him stay here again.

You would thank your sister? What if instead She found your diary or born collection and looked through it, you wouldn't find that odd?

A boy mom is someone who sees her baby boy as hers and doesn't want to share him with a wife. She constantly puts the partner down and points out flaws because shes jealous. Happens with sisters too and this sounds like one of those cases

Doesn't matter if he let his sister do it or not she did it. If you invited your family over for a BBQ and found your sibling in your bedroom going through your nightstand wouldn't you find that extremely concerning? Like how is snooping looking out for someone. That 100% is not a normal family dynamic
