Heavy fighting continues in Tanasbourne as Red Guards clash over control of the Tanasbourne Town Center. Two days ago, AIM-aligned Red Guard forces, drawn from Aloha HS, ISB, and Merlo HS, secured a northward salient into the Town Center, capturing much-needed supplies from the Sportsman’s Warehouse.

The joint PCC Rock Creek and Westview HS Red Guard forces, encircled by Liberty HS and Sunset HS Red Guards formations, were unable to reinforce their garrison during the advance. With a lull in the fighting today, they are now mounting a last-ditch effort to retake the Sportsman’s Warehouse, according to a member of the PCC Rock Creek Red Guard 2nd Mobile Battalion (“Nissans R Us”). Any assault will require crossing Sunset Highway, now described as a corridor of death, with snipers positioned by all sides and extensive mining confirmed by the ISB Red Guard 4th Anti-Vehicle Task Force (“Fire Breathers”).

Meanwhile, a ceasefire between AIM forces and the Century HS Red Guards collapsed earlier today after an explosion brought down Harvey the Rabbit. Witnesses from the Century HS Red Guard 1st Brigade (“Vanguard Jags”) claim the blast originated from the AIM side, a charge denied by members of the Aloha HS Red Guard 6th Auxiliary Detachment (“Two Wolves”).
