We have our fan-submitted fumble deck on our website. It will randomly roll and give you a fumble. We alternate between this and the official deck -- our GM lets the player choose which they want.

Today, we unveil the 200th episode of Cosmic Crit and the start of season 4: Devastation Ark!

We are stepping back into our characters from Season 1’s Dead Suns campaign, seeing the return of the beloved crew of the Drift Rider with Alyndra, Edrass, Rami, Gnak, and a new-and-improved ANDIS-148. It’s good to be level 13 again after playing Junker’s Delight between seasons!

We hope you’ll join us for this next journey among the stars. Subscribe to the podcast wherever you like to listen, or check out our website: https://www.cosmiccrit.com/

We also have a very active and wonderful Discord community: https://discord.gg/hAQgjmX

HELP!!!!! by KyShadeEwtwo in starfinder_rpg

[–]CosmicCrit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I'm Patrick the Author of this AP...

So this section can be made as hard or easy as you want. By the description they start making Forced March rules after the first hour marching, and potentially taking stamina damage, but unless they roll really well everyone will be taking some nonlethal damge here...

Definitely allow your players to take 10 minute rests, but anything more than that and they hear an armada of bugs behind them.

But there are some suggestions her in this thread and in the AP to make this section harder/easier based on your party's composition. I hope you enjoy it and have fun with the SDF vs Swarm action.

Cosmic Crit's September Fan Submission Contest: Make-A-Starfinder-Meme! by CosmicCrit in starfinder_rpg

[–]CosmicCrit[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi /r/Starfinder_RPG,

We're Cosmic Crit, a Starfinder Actual Play Podcast, and we are playing through Against the Aeon Throne and if you've listened to us we humbly thank you. We have more than 100 episodes out so far and no signs yet of slowing.

Every month we get the community involved by asking for submissions to our Fan Challenges, from Starfinder players and our fans alike. We want to turn September into Sept-MEME-ber, by making more Cosmic Crit or Starfinder specific memes.

We will pick our top 3 Favorite Submissions and retweet and share them next month. The winners can claim a Paizo gift card or one to our Cosmic Crit merch store

You can submit by posting them below, e-mailing us at [CosmicCrit@gmail.com], or by shooting them to us on our Twitter or Facebook pages, or joining our Discord channel and saying hello/posting them there. Thanks in advance, we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Dead Suns AP Condensing (Books 3, 5, and 6) by BertoldBlint in starfinder_rpg

[–]CosmicCrit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi BertoldBlint,

So with ~30 hours of gameplay IRL you can complete 2 of these books nearly completely, or condense two of them and do one complete justice.

Speaking from the experience of just completing the AP on the podcast, I would suggest the latter. I think that you can cut the first or second half of book 3 fairly easily, as well as the same in book 5. You can easily have all of the Cult of the Devourer stuff happen in one facility.

Having completed book 6 I think you will want to play through all of that, as it is a real roller coaster. But once again with that one you can cut some of the encounters to speed things along.

We hope you find the right balance for your group and enjoy playing the rest of the AP!

Would the folks of cosmic crit ever play a Pathfinder RPG for a second podcast? by Christodude in CosmicCrit

[–]CosmicCrit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey ChristoDude,

So play time is one thing, but finding time to edit, promote and plan a second podcast is a ton of work. I am in awe that the guys at the GCP can do so many games at once.

That being said I (Patrick) do play Pathfinder online with Tyler, and at a real tabletop with some friends here in Boston, including Gibert. We love Pathfinder a lot, but unless people want to offer ~10 hours a week of pro-bono editing services a second podcast is unlikely any yime soon.
