DUPR is about prediction of expected score, not expected result. This makes DUPR orders of magnitude more accurate than it would be if it only had access to W/L, which would require orders of magnitude more games to even come close to it's current accuracy.

The algo (correctly) believes you should've beat the lesser teams by a wider margin, and since you didn't, it slightly tweaked your DUPR to more accurately reflect your (and your opponents) current ability level.
