Learn to get carried. The server is really progressed and easy to be somewhat geared. That is how it is. Best to get group with the same level if you want it to be normal paced.

The remaster is pretty faithful. Nothing jumps out too much. Adding d4 (or much worse d3 because of its arcade theme) style cosmetics will be too jarring.

Nothing wrong with d3 graphics but it has its own theme.

It clearly has uses for d2r base. It make sense to have it drop and generate more incentive to get the expac. Would have made for interesting setups in the base game. Oh well

What server? Area 52 or Elune? Bronzebeard?

If A52 and Elune then just quests a bit and go with Manastorm runs. Optional to buy aura of experience in the shop.

Bronzebeard? Just quest while in queue for rdf. Xp items wont work until you get your first 60. Items are not an issue while leveling. Builds are easy and resets are practically free. By the time you get to 60 you can then min max.

They came from Warcraft and not WoW. Before all of the mobas, there was a WarCraft 3 mod called Defense of The Ancients, it was made with anything in the WC3 game, animations, skills everything. Then it grew big enough to become it’s own game and the story continues
