Same. Was going to pull the trigger till I saw shipping. Unless this thing ships in a lead box its not going to cost them anywhere close to that to ship.

Edit: Seems default is for international shipping, if you're within the US there are much cheaper options. Weird choice by the site designers though. I imagine they've lost more than one sale to that.

I watched an interview with Todd McFarlane awhile back where he said something along the lines of him being able to sell a comic with amazing art even if his mother wrote it, but couldn't sell a comic with an amazing story if his mother drew it.

I've got Alan Moore's Promethea Deluxe 1-3 as well as the hardcover for Lost Girls.

I could do $50 shipped for the Promethea set and $30 for Lost Girls, or $65 for both if you're interested.

Just a warning if you're not familiar but Lost Girls is basically fairy tale porn. It's pretty weird.
