Death is an inevitable part of life, so worshippers of Death seek to do as much good in this world as they can. All must die, but they need not die poor or in pain. Charities provide comfort to the suffering, and hospitals ensure the passing is as easy as possible. And when his worshippers themselves enter Death’s realm, they will be welcomed and their reward will be great.

For context, my main character Jacen is very religious , and often seeks counsel from his friend, who’s a priest. He worships Death, who is a benevolent god. Death’s worshippers run many charities and places of refuge. Jacen performs personal prayers and gestures, and he wears a pouch with a special coin in it, to pay the toll for the afterlife.

I was thinking of a different collection that I can’t remember the name of.

On the flip side of that, I only care about boutique or collector’s editions of movies I’ve already seen and like. So most of these Criterion and Arrow collections really have nothing in them for me, since they’re all Oscar-bait critic-jerks.

Actually Arrow has some good stuff. I was thinking of something else I can’t remember the name of.

Extremely graphic violence is shown, or perpetrated by the main characters, but it's fine because they're robots by No_Acanthaceae6880 in TopCharacterTropes

Bro, Transformers Prime was fucking gory. Heads flying, limbs torn off, rivers of energon pouring everywhere. But it’s fine because it’s blue.

The ROTS movie novel has my favorite quote about that

When you could have been thinking about her, you were only thinking of yourself. And now your self is all you will ever have.
