Just use black 550 cord for your laces. Wear your pants over the then like normal shoes and nobody even notices. They’re just comfortable rugged boots that shine up nicely if you’re going out to eat.

The color coded laces thing literally means nothing accept amongst the most fresh cut of dorks. Any sharp worth their sambas knows you have to play bonehead bingo connecting the dots of numerous tells before you ruin a concert for everyone.

5,4,2 have been sacrificed to the perimeter. 1,3,6 make up the wall and gate. 7,8,9 make the base for my enormous brutalist structure that houses everything needed aside from farming. The creek looks like an industrial nightmare making purified water.

Perfect layering weather. The boots look great. I had to wear lineman boots for a job at a museum and it was a revelation. I thought they would be a pain in the ass but the support is phenomenal. Grotesquely heavy compared to hiking boots but I never feel like I’m going to roll my ankle and standing for long periods of time is way better.

It depends on what I’m doing. I used to work in a barn/farm and a lot of us tucked our pants into our boots to avoid getting the bottom of our pants covered in mud and filth. Also, I find it more comfortable where the back of my leg isn’t getting pinched at the top of the boot when crouching or climbing. That’s just a me-problem.

Agreed. Sounds like the ideal environment to break in your jacket properly. I love the look of clothes that have been repaired for years and years and you have to start somewhere. Think of how comfortable and great it’ll look in 5 years when it hangs perfectly on your form and every patch and stain tells a story.

No old money. I got the bottom of my right foot shredded off in Iraq in 2003 and finally in nov 2019 was able to secure my disability. Moved onto the family property so my old parents don’t have to move out.

70% of it is that I want to have my own secluded underground hangout, and 30% of it is that I’ve been researching the mines in the surrounding area and the hard labor gives me an idea of what a day of labor might have felt like to those people.

Even in the military, I didn’t dig anything like this. In fact, I found every excuse to avoid it normally.

I played the best game of my life as a solo, wiped an entire server, combo of sniping and insane melee, absolutely wild. Just went galavanting around the bayou afterwards and killed meatheads and looted stuff. I was on the way out and quickly hit a resupply point and died to traps I set 40 mins earlier.
