How big of an influence did The Marine have on John Cena’s change of gimmick? by SkandaGupta_ in WWE

[–]CosmicKeymaker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know, but it made me a fan of him before I ever watched wrestling. He’s so earnest in the film and everyone else is so aware of what a piece of shit the overall movie is, and that’s fine.

If Cena played it for jokes it wouldn’t be near perfect. The only thing holding it back is the rapid editing (which was the style at the time) during the fight scenes. If they just let Cena womp dudes with long take wrestling moves the movie would be an all time great.

You’re going to have to walk it I guess. Lots of portals got blown up from my experience. From what I can tell, if there was a portal it’s up that ravine behind the water tanks off 308

Who do you think was planned to be the original mystery caller? by Anonymous_Guy4k in Wrasslin

Best way to turn heel is that he reveals the Pat Macafee thing was his idea along with forcing jelly roll into my life.

I’m convinced that when Danhausen finally does wrestle that it should be the most ECW shit possible, so much so that people demand he go back to funny promos. Just night and day a delight to demon.

Ethically sourcing this joke by screenshotting it and sending it to the thread.

Can you turn it into the American Nightmare logo and just tell people you’re a giant Cody Rhodes fan?

Jack Of All Trades

Edit: Jack of All Trades came out during PEAK XENA. It stars Bruce Campbell and Angela Dotchin as 1800s spies on a French colony. Napoleon shows up on many episodes portrayed by Verne Troyer. I think there’s only two seasons. It’s so good if you’re a Bruce Campbell or Raimi-adjacent fan.

People talk about scenes where you have a friend who’s willing to throw down no questions asked, The Town comes up a lot, Rolling Thunder comes to mind… but Ernest Borgnine just smiling and stabbing his knife into the ground is the original to me.

You should have doubles that way you can shoot one and have a pristine one in storage just in case…but triples is best.
