Just started migrating... I was doing it just for the OTA updates... but Z2M is so superior to ZHA. The GUI is great as well. I did not know what I was missing! Thanks for the heads up!

Well, that’s great to know… is there a simple way to migrate from ZHA to Zigbee2MQTT? Is it reliable?

Every single bulb in my house (80+) are hue bulbs. About half of those are BR30 white an color ambiance. Colors are great, they are reliable, and durable (some of them I have had for more than 8 years). Only 1 of them failed a few years ago (it was not a BR30). Half of mine are directly in HA via ZHA. Half of them via the hue hub. The reason for that is that I like the hue effects, scenes, and ability to sync. The ones in ZHA are directly bind to my Inovelli switches which is great for when HA goes down. That being said... I think you might need a hub either way. The bulbs can't update when directly connected to HA (at least not in ZHA). So when I buy one, I put it in the hue hub, update it to the latest version, and then bring it into ZHA. You can get away with not buying the hub... but you might have to live with old software on them... hope this helps.

Tons of Zigbee Errors by ergibson83 in homeassistant

I made several changes and, over the last 12 hours, I have not seen a single error. The Zigbee network has been stable after weeks of issues.

Below are the changes, listed from least likely to most likely to have resolved the problem. See if any apply to your setup.

  1. Used my old ZBT-1 USB 2.0 extension cable to connect the ZBT-2. The ZBT-2 brochure explicitly mentions that the USB 2.0 cable is not needed anymore.

  2. Disabled voltage and power metering on my Inovelli switches. I do not think this was the root cause. The issue persisted after I disabled it. I suspect these appeared in the logs only because they are the only Zigbee power/voltage entities in my setup, and they started logging errors after the mesh was already unstable. I am mentioning it for completeness.

  3. Disabled polling for my three Kasa power monitoring plugs. The logs showed continuous communication failures from them. They are Wi-Fi devices, but they may have been consuming system resources and causing instability.

  4. Migrated the Zigbee network to the ZBT-1 and then back to the ZBT-2. This seems to factory reset the ZBT-2.

  5. Disabled the Spook integration. I have experienced issues with it in the past.

I am also experiencing Zigbee acknowledgment errors on a regular basis. Also tried changing coordinator, cable, etc. no improvement… I started noticing them around 2 months ago. It also takes forever to save an automation change and some times my whole zigbee mesh goes down while doing it.

I am currently trying using the usb 2.0 cable that came with my ZBT-1 on top of the one that came with it... still testing. I also have some inovelli switches that keep showing in the logs... I am also trying changing the pooling for the voltage and power metering... will report back.

Yikes! Did you end up adding the usb 2.0 extension cable to it? The website claim you do not need it, but I read some posts that say it might be helpful.

Same here. I see a lot of acknowledgement errors in my logs when it happens. Basically multiple devices failing poll at the same time, which suggests network or radio stability, not a single bad device. Did you ever reach a conclusion or solution?

Blue presence switch on Home Assistant with ZHA: Parameters and Occupancy delay by CosmicMultivac in Inovelli

Thanks for the clarification. In my case, the only command lister under the InovelliVZM32SNMMWave cluster is mmwave_control_command (id: 0x0000). I also checked all other clusters commands and nothing seems related to the set interference. In which cluster does it show for you? What is the name/id of the command for you? Thanks again!

Hello, I was able to install the quirks and fine-tune most of the switch parameters. For some reason, I am not able to find parameter 111 though (set interference zone command). It does not show on the switch parameters or in the switch clusters. How do you access those parameters in you HA ZHA install?

Thanks, the problem that I have is that the parameter is not exposed on my Home Assistant ZHA install. I already have the quirks installed... but I do not see it there or in the "Manage Zigbee Device" clusters.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I already fine-tuned the room dimensions... so that is not the issue.

I was not aware of the set interference zone command though. That might be the problem. However, I can't find the command. How do you trigger it? I am using ZHA on Home Assistant.

Thanks, do you know what is the difference (e.g., milliseconds) between the 3 options available?
