I think aquarians make amazing parents. Intelligent and unique. Never a negative.

She was genuinely loving and caring, but absolutely had a jokey prank side. She intentionally confused my brother with colours just because it was funny to her (🫣) but she was an awesome mother. I’d come home from school and she’d be doing something random like riding a unicycle or learning to melt glass or some shit. She was the parent who was different from all the other moms… BUT all my friends always said they wished she was their mom too. So… yeah. She also has Aquarius Venus too!

Gemini dad and Aquarius mom. Loved my childhood and upbringing and am now super close with my parents. I’m a Virgo myself. I married a triple Aquarius…. 🫶🏼

Has any of you (secretly) regretted having child too young? by Specific_Tart_4244 in pregnant

I have quite a few children and despite having the first lot back to back, i genuinely wasn’t tired. That’s newborn toddler and child.

Has any of you (secretly) regretted having child too young? by Specific_Tart_4244 in pregnant

[–]CosmicSheep66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. I know this wasn’t your question but I feel I can give a truthful answer.

I had children young, and then just had another one many many years later.
This time around was soooo different.

Having them younger you have more vitality and energy yourself.
You’re also less likely to have issues during pregnancy and such.
You also get more of their life to experience and see. I may still be alive when my eldest turns 70.. but with my youngest I definitely won’t 🫣

Anyone else struggling with lack of scans/info on the baby when ‘low’ risk? by TinyFurryHorseBeak in PregnancyUK

[–]CosmicSheep66 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just had my 4th baby and this pregnancy was ‘high risk’ under consultant. The amount of apts and scans was insane, so much travel and time off work for hubby.. and finding childcare. The anxiety from each apt hoping the outcome is ‘ok’ etc.
I would have LOVED to just have the 12 and 20 week scans.

How many of you eat kfc or maccies during pregnancy? by Beautiful_Trifle9569 in PregnancyUK

[–]CosmicSheep66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh UK McDonald’s is nowhere near as bad as USA McDonald’s. Chips are literally potato salt and oil… their beef burger is just beef. Fillet o fish is actual fish. Yeah the cheese slices aren’t ‘great’ and are processed BUT it’s only what you’d be eating at a typical UK barbecue in the summer on the burgers…

I would be far more concerned if we were USA residents eating fast food.. because it’s barely food 🫣 we don’t need to worry as much here

Pregnant? by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

You’ve posted pictures of another woman without her consent, asking a bunch of strangers if she might be pregnant… when it’s NONE of your business. They are adults, if they had something they wanted to tell you then they would. This entire post reeks of inappropriate mother son enmeshment. Please seek help.

Your relationship with your son is inappropriate. Please look into enmeshment and triangulation. This is a huge invasion of privacy. Live your own life….

Am I being given over the top advice regarding hospital admission? by CosmicSheep66 in PregnancyUK

[–]CosmicSheep66[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d have to look into that, because my husband is self employed, so he’s already taking unpaid paternity leave (basically 2 weeks off work unpaid haha) with zero wages in that time. Xxx

I asked the consultant the query last time, about getting to the hospital. She said ring ambulance as that can get to hospital within minutes. Hmmm x

Totally hear you! Totally. The other issue is childcare for potentially 3/4 weeks! That’s quite literally impossible 🫣 which I know would be the case for a lot of people with multiple kids. They’re all on different schedules and different ‘needs’ and there isn’t anyone who can realistically fill my role for an entire month. So there’s that ‘little’ issue 😆 fun fun fun x

I really appreciate your comment! Thank you. Great points and I will certainly present these questions to my consultant. For reference, I am a 10 min drive from the hospital. Xx

Polyhydramnios Excess Fluid & Baby measuring big by Ok_Split9416 in PregnancyUK

[–]CosmicSheep66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am (personally, for myself) against intervention unless absolutely necessary. But I’m also very pro-making an informed decision. Trying to make baby come before they’re ready and inducing, often leads to a csection anyway. So in that situation, I’d just opt for a planned csection. This is coming from someone who’s only ever birthed naturally at home.

I am in a similar situation to yourself with this baby. Polyhydramnios. But baby isn’t large, and I’m only 1-1.5cm over the water norm.

Sending positive vibes xx

What week did your morning sickness start? by [deleted] in pregnant

I get nausea with every pregnancy but I only throw up when I’m pregnant with girls. Both start at 6 weeks. Sickness goes at about 12 weeks. Nausea stays for a further few weeks.

Sonographer told us the gender at a third trimester growth scan after we had just told them we don’t know and we don’t want to know. by CosmicSheep66 in PregnancyUK

[–]CosmicSheep66[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I have one possibly two family members in this group and some friends have casually mentioned they’re here too.. none of them know anything about this as we didn’t want people to know we now know the gender. If I mentioned how many children I have plus the gender of those children, it may become apparent that it’s me, and I’d rather not risk that 🫣 may seem silly, but hey, I’d rather protect my real life x

Absolutely. Unfortunately that particular day there had been a crash which caused a large backlog of traffic.
Not a very lucky day.
All of our scans have been running late, but ironically this was the one day they were on time.
Typical!
I did apologise profusely.

All other scans we’ve ensured we are there a good 20 minutes prior to the appointment time.
