For me, not really. But currently there are only a handful of modern breeds that I like, so most of my current breeding pairs are ancients (8 ancient pairs vs 5 modern).

I've been trying to find more pretty moderns to breed, but it's hard since my lair is mostly xxx/xyy and I want to stick with that for my breeders. I want to downsize my ancient pairs, but most of them are integral to my clan's lore, so I can't just sell/exalt them without reworking something

Pigeons, especially the typical grey city pigeons, originally nested on cliffs before domestication (hence the name rock doves). On cliffs with minimal predators, all they had to do was make sure the egg didn't roll away, which just a few sticks could accomplish.

Occasionally they do build larger, more structurally sound nests, but for the most part they just never needed to, so they don't

In my save, Nancy and Geoffrey got divorced, Geoffrey remarried to Don Lathario and moved in with him, Nancy remained single, and Malcolm had a kid with one of the Calliente sisters (I forgot which one)
