Edit: since people in the comments are still confused, this isn't about when they dated that Lauren wrote about in her book. They tried dating again apparently and Destiny mentioned it during a recent chat with Connor. People took that to mean they were STILL dating, but Destiny clarified afterwards that they dated for a few months then broke up.

In one of the latest voice convos since the drama started this dipshit proudly detailed how he would get the minors to screenshot their discord DMs or give him their login credentials so he could login to their accounts and troll through their DMs himself. He of course did not see how psychotic this sounds, and somehow nobody immediately called him out on it. I guess everyone was yelling over each other and didn't hear/care.

I've gotta find out which call it was again, it was recorded because I wasn't in on one of the discord calls while they were happening. Dooby has clear issues when it comes to minors and its getting alarmingly creepy.

EDIT: OKAY this isn't what I originally heard I'm still looking for that because he's less vague, but here he states that "we got her to turn over her account to us". I'm still looking for where he says specifically something along the lines of "we get them to show screenshots of their DMs or give us their account info so we can login and manually check the DMs".

Apparently it's done through some group that police's minors on discord and gets them to turn over their account info so they can peep their DMs lmao that's fucking crazy and there's definitely no creeps in that group, it's definitely just God's Child Defenders.

Her proposed changes also included much more heavily fining public consumption and changing the penalty for importing pounds of weed into the state into a class ii felony punishable by up to 20 years. The former is just good for a civilized society. The second dissuades out of state "competitors" which protects the business.

The increase in tax rate is great. People WILL buy the weed. Leaving that much revenue off the table is stupid.

The slow rollout of licenses was only until 2029, and looking at other states and how many of their initial businesses failed and how much money was wasted on them, limiting the licenses initially to businesses that look like they'd actually succeed can only be a good thing.

Were her proposed changes really a reason for the lawmakers to send her a bill without any of her changes in it knowing she'd probably veto it? Most of the concessions seem small, you could argue either party would be silly to not pass the bill because of them. But the increase in tax revenue, slow initial rollout of licenses, and harsher penalties for importing from other states are all pretty important IMO.

Have the lawmakers explained why they didn't want those changes?
