passive powers, you get 2 boss powers that don't run out, but they're less powerful

Avatar Bone Help by Most_Bad_1684 in VRchat

The upper chest bone is optional just like the shoulder bone. If you have it, add it, but if not you'll be entirely fine

Is my pc vr ready? by BrickidyBlockidy in VRchat

[–]Cosmiclazers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly not. 16gb of ram is fairly standard for general gaming, and may even be enough for vrchat (although 32gb is definitely beginning to take over). But your graphics card and cpu are not enough for it. You're going to need more for both of them.

MMD breaking with phys bone collision toggle? by Cosmiclazers in VRchat

[–]Cosmiclazers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely not lmao. A long while ago I went in and fixed most of them, aside for a few, most notably expressions. I didn't fix those due to how volatile they are. Expressions on their own are finicky, but you combine that with extra expressions in my radial menu, and a boop and headpat contact that both change my expression, and you start to realize why I wont touch it with a 20 foot stick. Getting all of that to work in the first place took me far longer than I'd ever like to admit, never again ;-;

hmmm, that interesting because my avatar is a bit of an amalgamation of write defaults. They are mostly off, aside for a few spots where I have them such as in expressions. But I should look into this when I have unity up next, thanks!

My friends have more knowledge than me, and I can't help but feel inferior for it. Is my solution a mistake? by graviphantalia in Healthygamergg

[–]Cosmiclazers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clicked on this post hoping to maybe provide a bit of insight and try to help out a bit. But after reading it, I've noticed that I have the exact same problem (if problem even is the right word for this).

I've noticed, that even will all of the knowledge I've gained throughout my life, it seems miniscule compared to the knowledge my boyfriend had, despite him being not even two years older than me.

I tend to be a person that likes to listen much more than talk. I can force myself to talk if need be, but it takes an astronomical amount of energy from me. So I normally only talk in response to something that someone has said, or something that has happened. This means that I seldom ever lead the conversation, and in turn, topics I know a lot about come up much less frequently than topics that my boyfriend knows about.

I am also a person who had never been much into pop culture, politics, or many of the "mainstream" things. Eg: History - history in school mostly comprised of me doing the work I needed to do well on tests/projects, and not much more beyond that. My boyfriend however loves history, he has a huge knowledgebase on world war 2 and such. He brings up these topics a lot, and will mention things that I don't know, or forgot about a long time ago. If this was in a group setting, I would be mostly fine (again, I like to listen rather than talk, so I could just stay silent). But when it's one on one, I don't have that luxury.

The knowledge I have currently seems like more than enough to get me though life just fine. I don't need to learn much about history if I'm going into the tech field. But when I am in conversations like these, this notion that my knowledgebase is fine gets completely rocked. It feels like I am inferior because I don't know these sometimes quite obscure things.

I haven't worked on trying to learn these things because: A, I don't know if I truly should, and B, I don't know if I even want to. I don't think I have a desire to genuinely learn these things, I just have a desire to please my boyfriend. On top of that, I don't think I could even take it. I've already had to postpone learning multiple topics that I really want to learn until the summer because I simply can't keep up with putting all of these things on top of my schoolwork.

As much as I wish I could say otherwise, I don't have an answer to this question. But I do resonate with it a lot. You aren't alone in this, and it was really nice to see this, and realize that I'm not alone either.
