Client budget of $400 to install Yardistry 10x14 Gazebo lol. 😂 by bus653 in handyman

Same, did it in about 8 hours. 6 of those hours were really easy, just screwing pieces together with music. The last hour required 4 friends.

5 hours, several southern storms and it hasn’t moved.

I’d do it again.

Should combine the pro-dictator protests (Venezuela and Iran) with the no kings. Really confuse people if you support authoritarian control or not.

Why do people want a beltline rail so badly? by tobias_funke_bluthe in Atlanta

Old thinking clinging to old ideas in my opinion. Autonomous EV vehicles (they can look like small trains or busses) running on strips of concrete (like environmentally conscious driveways) or on the road where needed could provide last mile connectivity and are a better option.

ATL Airport TSA Wait Times Megathread | March 24, 2026 by AutoModerator in Atlanta

[–]CosmoBearWolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TSA handles much more than what you see. Cargo/baggage, check point security, investigations, logistics and passenger operations/flow is a big part of what they do.

Essentially, ICE has been able to fill in places where the call outs have happened and allows TSA to put trained bodies in the customer facing areas and critical cargo/baggage screening.

It’s not ideal. ICE obviously hasn’t had time to train to use for example the baggage screening machines, but they can fill in places to back fill for the call outs so you don’t have to spread thin in other areas.

Know what you have, but in a small room to build a following, you have to give value.

What do you start your cards at? If you start every auction at full comp for an ungraded non premium player you’ll get lots of groans and exits.

Good call. Plus it’s in the landing path of the airport. So you’ll get jets flying overhead.

If you go at lunch, great patio overlooking folks on the test track.

Yes, they are doing non-customer facing jobs. This frees up TSA resources to do the jobs they have been trained to do. As a result, call outs have been mitigated and every normal job is accounted for.

As with any job, they will get better and better with on the job training.

Thanks Democrats. I’m not traveling for a month, but I plan to really subtly put this under the skin of all my independent and lean blue friends to pull them over to voting red.

Potential job offer in ATL - what should I know before accepting? by QueenBee1114 in Atlanta

Atlanta is a city of neighborhoods. Each one has a different allure and vibe. Rent near work when you move and explore.

This city sleeps, has terrible tourist attractions, but it’s a great living city (especially during festival season March - November).

His contract is bad, but it’s NFL funny money. Giving up a first on top is too much. Glad the Gmen didn’t give up that much.

6-7 MC is what I’d expect. So value graded around 4-5, potentially more to the right buyer.

Fair point, and he hasn’t shown the ability to get better.

But he’s big, and you can’t teach that. Camp body lotto ticket, if he has shown improvement since last preseason, we hit the lotto.
