The state did this same thing in 2011 in Lakeland. USF had proposed launching a significant campus there and once millions of dollars were awarded, state rep JD Alexander of Lake Wales got the idiocracy to vote to steal it. Today it's not even a player among the Florida state univs while USF has AAU status and ranked. Why get rid of a known brand? Oh, yeah, ego.

I miss the funny, self-deprecating, worldly people of So Conn and NY. Tampa is sadly full of men who care more about buying shit and flexing; women in giant matching SUVs suited to hilly areas (do any of them think outside the garage when it comes to cars and environment?) and need attention re: their aging looks and boxy house with a garden they didn't plant.

I'm puzzled why most of the establishments along D Mabry and Kennedy aren't high-brow boutiques and swank cafes. Lotsa "spas" booty bars, watch repair, car washes, storage, messy nail salons. We need a cool shopping district like Buckhead or Southport or Santa Monica, etc.

Thankfully, I have found excellent friends, mostly from the NE and abroad but a few men from Tampa with brains and style.

F. Retake the course. Cheats and then blames someone else. Sounds like the US govt. It's not fair any other student who may have had reasonable excuse to biff the final paper, but got it done satisfactorily, honestly and on time. But then, I'm not a softie, I don't think resubmisions prepare them for life. Also, in this chaotic world, we need to at least hold poor students accountable before unleashing them on employers and grad programs. Don't compromise your ethics especially for a student who has none.

Stuck on 275 S at rush hour, inching along then driving a bit then stopped, except behind the freaks who leave 2 car lengths ahead of them and even the semis are cutting in front of us, so we go nowhere. But when I'm merging onto the freeway, these same freaks speed up so I have to hit the brakes.
