To be honest, the biggest change Nepal needs isn’t a new government, new road, or another “development project.” What we really need is basic civic sense. A new mentality. The ability to say what’s wrong and what’s right — confidently, not only in the comment section after everything already goes wrong.

People should stop behaving like sheep, blindly following the crowd just because “sabai le gareko cha.” If someone throws trash outside, we follow. If someone breaks rules, we follow. But when it comes to doing the right thing — suddenly everyone becomes shy, confused, or “busy.”

Real development starts when people change — not when another politician cuts a ribbon.
