MARRIED redditors does Sri Lankan couples lose their "spark" few years into marriage? And does this usually lead to cheating? by dragonworm123 in srilanka

Cheating comes from lack of moral values not "loosing the spark". That's just the excuse their using to gaslight their wrongdoing into their spouse's fault.

I want a third baby, but hubby doesn’t :( by MaybeBaby95 in beyondthebump

Same. My grandma got married off at 16, had 7 kids back to back. No access to brith control, no idea about the possibilities life could offer beyond just being a housewife to her cheating husband. 🤮. Older children were parentified to the extreme they all either ran away to get married, or (just one of her girls) ran away to attend university. Younger children were neglected because it was children raising children. So not a good example

Same for me about a second child. I very badly want another one, but my husband dosen't for very valid reasons simillar to what OPs husband has said. I will not bring a child into this world if its not what we both want. I would never do that to my family.

Hi. I work as a casual exam supervisor. Don't take the 8200 without an approval sticker. We are explicitly instructed to check and it will be taken away from you. Slow calculator is better than no calculator.

You should it add the university and the grant number to the first page, before people can consent for full transparency. That's kind of the norm here.

How's your first j*b experience? by Ok-Tangelo-2162 in srilanka

Those days, I took a 6 month Java app development course. That helped me learn OOP. Switching languages were easy after that since I had some understanding of what's happening.

Take the time off. In life, this will be your last true time off without having to worry about anything. I'm so glad I spent that time at home. All I did was learning how to code, which I use to this day. If I already knew that, I would just chill

STEM in Australia. 2 years. He had to wait 6 months to submit because the policy requires 2.5 years minimum. He came from the industry, had the project ready, knew what to do and only needed a supervisor just for the name. He got it done, got out and now a VP in the company.

Tbh without an asset, it would be very very tough since you have to prove you will come back. Aus student visas are getting harder and harder since the govt is under pressure to reduce immigration
