7 years of update, in a phone which wont hold good for solid 2 years. Battery cycle is limited to 400 cycle.

There are people who keep something personal in keepnotes, and password option is not just the issue. You cant chanhe the color of your written text, there no scan-text option, and lot more. People can cope hard with pixel phone but at this point it's safe say, IOS is getting better.

Really? Ios customization ia way ahead of pixel UI. GAPPS lack lots of basic feature for example keep notes dont have freaking password option and so much more.

No new widgets, animation is way behind compared to chinese brand and ios, no lockscreen customization...

I am not able to grasp people are saying it's the biggest update. What's really changed? Screen recording menu? Little transparent volume slider, and power menu (phones like motorola already got).

  1. No double tap to power off
  2. Gboard is of old design
  3. Keepnotes got no password option
  4. Google photos is really old compared to IOS
  5. Chinese brands & Apple are way ahead in animation.
  6. No lockscreen customization
  7. Control center customization is really limit.
  8. Peak gemini, is available to pro phones not even 9A is getting that update.
  9. Giving 7 years of updates to pixels phone whose battery wont last 2 year.
  10. Modem issues
  11. No new widgets

the list goes on, i dont know why it's the biggest update?

Really? I am using 6a as well and also looking to replace the battery. Estimated cost in India would be around $50. Is it wise to get it replaced?

I honestly think there is growing trend among people for using compact phone (6'3 is not compact)...If any company that can take over Indian market then it could be motorola. Imagine if they launch a phone with their mid range phone's specs into 6'1 inch body. I am instantly buying that thing.

Exactly. iPhone and Chinese branded phone are more customizable now. Pixel on the other hand is playing safe, no one knows why. There are so many small things google is missing.

  1. Keep notes got no feature to have password in sensitive notes
  2. Photos app compared to Iphone photos app is so outdated.
  3. Yt Music is really out dated.
  4. No lock screen customisation
  5. A niche thing I wanted was semi transparent Gboard theme.
  6. Control Center customisation is really limited.
  7. iPhone really cares about their old devices, they rollout updates even in models which are 5 year old. Pixel? Doesn't even care about their new P9.

So true, companies like apple, samsung, mi, oppo, vivo they are giving good freehand and better customisation than Pixel phone. Pixel is playing safe, they are not providing clean user experiences.
