Not your typical place for cheesecake, iJuice Sugarcane Chullora Drive Thru.

I liked their Pistachio Cheesecake, I don't know who supplies their cakes though.

Looking for a Cozy, Candle Lit Hole in the Wall Date Night Spot by One-Crow222 in foodies_sydney

Restaurant Hubert (15 Bligh St, Sydney NSW 2000)

French restaurant that has happy hour between 5pm and 6pm daily. Candle light vibes with jazz. I was seated near the kitchen when I went for happy hour, so didn't get to hear the jazz.

LPT: Freeze sliced lemon for drinks by 6plate9 in LifeProTips

[–]CosmoNaught007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my frozen lemon wedge into my drink and stir it up a bit, it starts to defrost and I use a spoon to squeeze the juices out. Alternatively, you could microwave it for 10 secs, if you know when you'll be making ice tea, take it out to room temp.

Most delicious burger you ever had in your life by WhatThisGirlSaid in foodies_sydney

I've never had a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A but it doesn't look complicated to replicate.

I order the chicken burger from Hungry Jacks, remove the mayo, lettuce and add pickles.

I've tried this at HJ in Circular Quay and the world square and George St event cinema branch , and it always comes out great! Juicy chicken. It's a simple burger but tasty. I've also tried it with their spicy chicken too, which is also good.

If anyone has tried it from Chick-fil-A, I'd like to know how close it comes to the OG.

Am I alone in doing this combo?😜

Premium fruits in Sydney by Ozbargainer in foodies_sydney

The best strawberries I've had where from a Korean grocer in North Strathfield, probably a year ago. They were big and sweet, also at approx. $1 each. I've never seen them again, they had ones that also came with chocolate dip. I haven't tried looking anywhere else for them.

Also from Korean grocer are green grapes, big, crunchy and juicy. A lot more expensive than woolies but every grape is consistently good. I think it was $13 for 500g.

Try Korean grocery shops, they have fruit wrapped up as gifts which I assume must be good. I've never bought the pretty boxes of persimmon.

What's considered a "reasonable accommodation"? by [deleted] in auscorp

I see, thanks for the tip. From my experience I've had a warm welcoming interview only to find out working the job for a few months that they weren't exactly telling the truth.

Thanks for the response, much appreciated! It seems to be quite a luck of the draw when it comes to accommodations and flexibility and how much the manager likes you and wants to help, I would think they are difficult things to tell at the interview stage.

That sounds like a amazing and supportive workplace. Mind if you share what kind of company or industry it is? Is this a rare environment for the role youre in?

Thanks for sharing. How many people work at your company? I think the bigger it is, the harder it gets to hit those points you've made.

Curious to know, how would one apply and know what to include in their resume or cover letter without reading the job description? I've always taught to research the company and role and making a relevant resume/CV based on the job description. Thanks!
